9. Zelda is no more!
Tears rolled down from Athena's eyes as she didn't have any idea what she would do now.
She had no idea about anything.
She wanted to shout out aloud and cry her heart out, but she couldn't…
God made her helpless. When he had given her strength and power to make things right and fight against every odds of life! But still, she couldn't save her mother.
She already lost her father.
And then, she lost her only strength, her mother. She only had her elder sister right then. Whom she should look after.
Thinking about her, Athena had no idea what she would tell Rachel about her mother.
How would she tell her sister that her mother was no more in that world and they could never see their parents again!
They have none to rely on too. They didn't have any support right then. They didn't know where they would stay, and how she would look after her sister.
Tears rolled down from the guy's eyes too by just seeing Zelda's lifeless body lying down on the floor.
He wanted to take Athena in his arms and console her!
As he got to know about things that Athena was a mute and couldn't talk to, he felt bad for her. And, seeing her using her power made him shocked at the same time. Because a normal wolf like him couldn't have those powers so easily.
Only, an Alpha family could have these Powers
The one from the royal pack, but still, not everyone in the Alpha pack could acquire those powers so easily! He was seeing the rare Alpha werewolves in front of him.
His eyes widened, as he looked at Athena who was crying to herself.
He figured out that she should be Alpha's daughter.
A daughter of an Alpha?
He had no idea how they got there? And, what were they doing there when she was the daughter of An Alpha? She should be next in line to take the position of the Alpha pack? Thinking about all this… he didn't understand why there was no Alpha there and why those three women were living there?
Looking at the woman who was lying as a lifeless body, and realised whatever she said with him.
She requested him to take the girls away from that place!
They were in danger? But, WHY?
He was too confused about what was going on around him!
The woman in front of him was a human.
She called the two girls as her daughters? And one daughter was a human and the other was a werewolf? Where was their father then? He remembered that the woman said before closing her eyes that she and her husband loved their children.
Everything confused him. How could a wolf be born to a human? And, not a normal wolf but a next in the line for the Alpha pack!
She was a Queen! A queen, who should rule her pack.
But there, he felt like she didn't know that she was an Alpha, who could rule the packs single handedly.
The guy nodded his head as he took a deep breath and promised himself to know more about her family and which pack they actually were from!
But right then he needs to take that lifeless body away from there. And, take the girls away from there...
As he promised to Zelda. That he would look after Rachel and Athena. He was ready to take care of them no matter what!
He was ready to sacrifice his life for both the girls. They had no support and he was the only supporter of them right then.
Seeing Athena, he figured out she must be just around 10 years old. And as he turned his head and looked at Rachel he figured out, she was around 10 years old too.
As both girls looked the same to each other, without any differences. It's hard to tell him who Athena was and who was Rachel. But he could easily identify who was who with his smelling power.
He took a deep breath and looked at Athena.
He grabbed her hand making Athena look at the guy.
"Don't worry... I will be with you from now on... I will do everything for you!"
The guy said with his teary eyes that made Athena vulnerable. She suddenly hugged him tightly by wrapping her small arms around his waist.
A shiver ran down his body as she hugged him. He didn't have any idea what he was feeling right now. But he was sure that there was something heavy he was feeling in his heart as soon as she hugged him…
He looked at her innocent face with tears rolling down from her eyes.
He couldn't see her with tears when he was looking at an Alpha.
But he surely knew that an Alpha had emotions too! Who died right then was her mother.
In her arms! Of course, it would hurt her so badly than anything.
He cupped her face and wiped off the tears away from her eyes and nodded his head at her.
"It's fine…! We don't have the power to bring back a person who has gone forever... We should be strong and move on in our lives..."
The guy said making Athena nod her head.
'You Shouldn't cry... You already know that your mother is going to die... You know, what you should do right now…! Focus on it and move on. You have so many things to look after. Don't be a weak person. Your father didn't raise you up weak!' Raksha, Her wolf said in her mind making Athena nod her head in yes.
Athena wiped the little tears that formed in the corner of her eyes and nodded her head at the guy.
"You okay?" The guy asked and Athena nodded her head in yes.
She looked at Rachel who was sleeping as a life less body. She took a deep breath and was about to keep her hand on her forehead when the guy grabbed her wrist, making her stop in mid way.
Athena snapped her head at him with her stern face and bloodshot eyes that scared the shit out of the guy.
"I am sorry... But... Could you tell me what you are trying to do right now?" The guy asked, making Athena take a deep breath as she closed her eyes.
'I am waking her up.' He heard a voice suddenly that made him look up at Athena who was looking at him with her stern voice.
'No… As soon as she wakes up she will ask what happened to your mother? What will you answer?' The guy, wolf Choas, asked Raksha to make Athena's eyes wide and she snapped her head at Rachel.
