The Hidden Lady
The sound of the door opening caught Leonard’s attention, but he wasn’t all that surprised to hear his elder brother’s voice because not that many people had access to the room that he was in. He turned toward the entrance as he wondered what Darius wanted.
“Why are you here? Oh, Florian is here as well…this is rare…” Leonard said dryly.
“I could ask you the same thing…” Darius replied as he walked toward where Leonard was seated.
“We’re here to find you, obviously…” Florian replied.
“Well, now that you’ve found me. What is it that you want?” Leonard asked.
“You have to stop hiding out here before it brings about more trouble,” Darius warned before his eyes glanced over to the unconscious woman laying on the hospital bed.
“What other trouble can possibly come about with her already in that state?” Leonard asked before letting out a sardonic chuckle.
“I guess you’re right about that…” Florian said while still keeping his distance from the hospital bed.
