Emily couldn't help but into her lower lip as Kelvin tightened his grip onto her hand whilst leading her into the corridor of the mansion.
Her nervous eyes glanced around the hall just to make sure Jason wasn't going to spot her with Kelvin. A man she really didn't know who was to become her mate for the rest of her life. Not that it matters whether you know the mate-to-be or not, it was entirely up to you to choose whom you wanted to end up with and you would face the consequences on your own. It was purely your own choice.
