I was surprised. I have not heard of atypical rogue movement in years. I nodded. "You can count on Sirius to defend the rest of the packs, my king." I said.

"You will not be working alone," The king said. I looked at him, curious. "I already informed the Alpha of Canopus to join you; he is strong, wise, and young. He is among the strongest of the Alphas, and he leads very well. Your joint forces will be vital to the success of this mission." I felt my stomach tighten. I could sense my wolf disagree; but in the presence of the Alpha King, she was silent and waited for me to respond. "I am sincerely grateful for keeping everyone's welfare and safety in mind, my King," I heard myself speak. "But with all due respect, I think my pack and I can handle it." I added.
