Immediately following my train of thought, my wolf harshly pushed forward and resurfaced, letting out a thunderous growl that had been louder than any werewolf had ever caused. I was thankful for Ethan and Alex leaving the back door open because, if not, my wolf would have shattered the windows as he shifted in his wolf form and took off into the forest, avoiding any pack member that stood in his way. Not like if there were any because they all knew better than to stand in front of an angry wolf. Especially one whose mate had just been injured. Just the mere thought of Malcolm sending god's knows what into Rocky's side and causing her so much pain made my wolf let out another menacing growl as he picked up speed and made his way through the thick forest trees.
