My eyebrows pulled together as I read his response. My cheeks turned a bright red, and not because of embarrassment this time. I was furious. How dare she throw herself at my mate? But then again, I wasn't exactly around when she used to do that. Thank god I wasn't because I would've probably ripped her head off or something. Not that I would've been successful because my strength wouldn't even compare to her own.

I turned around and found Ethan staring at me with a wide grin on his face. He winked in my direction before his attention was focused back on Mr. Johnson. I smiled at him, even if he wasn't looking, and turned back around to respond to Marcus.
