"Don't mention it," he said with a genuine smile, which caught me by surprise because I never saw him that way. "I just wish you were a werewolf. This injury would've been gone by now."
Marcus had informed me in a previous night that werewolves had the ability to heal a lot faster than humans. And by a lot I mean that the second they get scratched, the scratch mark would ultimately disappear within seconds. It did depend on the size of the wound, though. One like mine might last a few hours. Unfortunately for me, it wouldn't be fully healed for a couple days, maybe even a week.
