My head snapped in his direction and I glared up at his handsome features. I could hear soft chuckles erupt around me. I had almost forgotten that werewolves have heightened senses compared to humans, so I wouldn't be surprised if all of them could hear my fast beating heart. I was surprised at the fact that it hadn't jumped out of my chest just yet.
He continued to guide me through the tables until I recognized a few faces I had seen around him. He left my side for a split second to pull out a seat towards the end of the table. I sat down quietly, sending him a shy smile as I settled my plate on the table. In all honesty, I was never one who was used to sitting in the tables of the cafeteria. I would always hide myself in the library or somewhere else since I never had that many friends.
