I stared at him for a brief moment before looking back down at my notebook. I placed the pencil to the side as I subconsciously observed the drawing. I wasn't really paying much attention to it, but simply waiting for him to say something else to me. Thankfully, he did.

"I want to make it up to you."

My eyes snapped back to his and I immediately refused. "No. You did nothing wrong. It was completely my fault what happened yesterday and you don't need to do anything."

Yet somehow, I secretly wished he would and not listen to me.

He shook his head. "I don't care. Seeing you hurt yesterday just killed me inside. I want to make it up to you and show you something."

I raised my eyebrow in question. "Show me what?"
