Chapter Nine: Easy Job

Lin Chun and her group had successfully entered the building acquiring what they wanted and left without any issues. it was easier for them to come and leave because most of the guards were outside guarding Gong Zeli and now they were out of the house heading to their hideout but they were not alone this time.

Few minutes ago....

Pick up anything you deem expensive since the house is empty we might as well take it as our treat and make sure to keep it low, I will go and check on that safe lock I told you about.

Lin Chun said to Zimo before making her way to the main office she had always targeted with Zixin trailing behind her. She was able to get her hands on one of the master key in the house without any suspicion because this was not the first time she operated like this and secondly the members of the mansion deemed her harmless with her innocent look so it was easy for her to get her hands on the key.

She was always the smart one who could get her hands on anything which was why she was called the GLUE while Zixin was the one who could open any lock without issues and his twin Zimo was the nerd who made computers his best friend despite their lack of proper education plus his clumsiness. the three was a perfect team although Lin Chun disagrees with it because of Zimo.

Lin Chun entered the main office with the master key and went straight to the safe with Zixin trailing behind her. The safe was on the wall behind a painting, it blended so well to the wall that it would have been easy to overlook by a careless person but Lin Chun is not careless whenever it come to things that brings in profit or quips her curiosity so it was easy to find by her when she was cleaning although she was not alone during the time of the discovery. The owner of the room didn't notice any changes in her expressions when she found it so he didn't think much of it and let her continue working then.

How long do you think it will take you to make it?, she turned Zixin asking. It won't take long because the safe is an easy one, it seems the person who made it was confident in them guarding it well, I won't blame them because nobody in their right senses would dare to steal from the black arrows except if they have gone crazy.

Well am crazy, aren't I? Lin Chun snickered while walking away from the room to check her surroundings but before she could walk further down the hall she heard a small whimper, the sound was so small that a normal person wouldn't have heard it but Lin Chun and her active five senses where extraordinary so she was able to hear it making her walk towards where the sound came from. The room was dark making her search for the switch then on turning on the lights she saw a woman who was tied to a chair with swollen cheeks and a slight cut on her lips, she was weak but was on guard which made Lin Chun walk towards her with caution telling her to calm down with a low voice and at the same time removing the cloth tied to her mouth.

Who are you and why are you tied up here?, Lin Chun asked the woman that was tied to the chair. My name is Meng Yao, I was kidnapped by Gong Zeli's men few hours ago but who are you, do you work for them ?.

Well I use to work here as a maid but today i came to give tell them that I wanted to resign because I don't want to continue working here but I can't find anyone inside the house at the moment.

It seems like the house is empty so the best I can offer you now is to untie you then you can find your way out by yourself.

Lin Chun who was talking on a low voice said to Meng Yao but she knew that half of her claims were lies, though she worked here she didn't come to end her job. Who the hell ends their jobs by robbing the people they worked for.

When she untied the rope wrapped around Meng Yao, she let the woman stand then making sure she was okay she told Meng Yao the way to the back exist she came in with her group since the owners of the house were house front then she turned and left. Walking back to the office where she left Zixin and the safe she saw him packing and arranging what he had gathered from the safe and Zimo had also arrived and was helping his twin brother out.

Are you done yet?, we need to leave because we have wasted a lot of time already?.

We are already done, we were waiting for you though, where did you go to?. I saw someone tied up in a room so I had to help out, since you are done let's get going before they notice us. Lin Chun said to them and at the same time walking out of the office without bothering to explain about the person she was talking about so the twins followed her without questions but on their way to the back door they met Meng Yao who seemed like she was struggling to find her way out of the house.

"Why are you still here?" Lin Chun asked her, it's you!. I think I lost my way I can't seem to find the door you spoke about, are you leaving now, if so can I follow you, but why are you taking the back door like me?. Meng Yao who was surprised to see Lin Chun with extra people asked.

These are my co-workers, Lin Chun said pointing to Zimo and Zixin. I told you that there are visitors outside so I can't follow there so we will just make due with the back door and you can follow us out before they find out you are missing and I don't want to get into trouble for releasing you, Let's get going she said helping Meng Yao who had a little strength to walk out.
