Decisions.

Kevin parked his car near the supermarket right from the morning. It's a long shot but he wants to see her again. His wolf has been turning in both delight and agony all day. Even the elders noticed that he hasn't been concentrating. They suspected that he might have found his mate. But he doesn't understand why he could feel this pull to a human. Like a magnet attracting iron towards a steel object, it's like he was drawn to this woman.

That was why he couldn't focus during the meeting. He kept asking himself what he should do after seeing her again. He sat there watching for her arrival and waiting patiently for his chance to talk to her. How was he supposed to tell her she was his and only mate for a lifetime and forever? That they were technically bound by the strings of fate.

Walking on the busy street, Alisha tried to avoid bumping into anyone as she walked into the store, covered in dirt and mud from earlier. As soon as she entered, her eyes fell upon the young woman sitting at the register, and smiled widely.

"Dana!" She greeted her happily as she approached the counter. "How are you, today?" She asked, trying to be polite.

" I'm perfectly fine, Alisha. What happened to you..?" The woman asked curiously looking down at her messy Blonde hair and her muddy clothes.

"Umm, well, you know. I accidentally slipped in a puddle. So now my hair is covered in mud." Alisha chuckled nervously while scratching the back of her neck with an awkward smile.

"Aha," She looked up at Alisha with an understanding smile.

"So, what can I get for you? Can I help you pick anything? You don't seem to have a lot in your basket..." She questioned curiously.

"No, I just came to get a few things. I'll be out soon."

Dana smiled and gave her a nod, "Alright. If you need any assistance, just call me." "Thank you, Dana! I will." Alisha turned around and walked up the aisle and toward her items.

Kelvin has been waiting since midday. There's every possibility that she might not come here today or she even came before he got here. Kelvin pulled his car to a start and was about to leave when he saw her dirty figure go into the supermarket. Once again, he feels repulsed by her appearance, but still goes in after her.

He waits near the back of the store while observing her. Her hair hung loosely around her shoulders and her brown eyes scanned the shelves. She seemed rather lost as if she didn't know exactly what to look for. She looks down at her watch and lets out a frustrated sigh.

She decided to walk over to the aisle with the vegetables and spices.

He couldn't help but notice how beautiful her skin was. She looked so skinny and malnourished yet strong all at the same time. And how she had such soft brown eyes with black flecks floating around them.

After picking a few things with her, she turned around to cash them out. When a little boy bumped into her almost sending her falling to the floor. When a hand reached out to grab a hold of her waist and steadied her. It felt like an electric shock ran through her body.

It startled her so much that she let out a small gasp. Her eyes widen slightly before she quickly regained her composure and her brown eyes met with Kelvin's black ones.

It was the handsome stranger.

Her heart skipped a beat, as he was holding tightly onto her side, keeping her from falling over again. She felt his gaze fall on her face and he noticed that she was blushing.

His heart started beating faster as their eyes locked into each other's and a warm feeling spread throughout his body. It felt as if his soul was glowing. His gaze stayed focused solely on hers as she gazed into his. And for the first time ever, He didn't know what to say.

It was so quiet and awkward that Alisha came back to her senses and distanced herself from him. She felt embarrassed at how she looked, even though she didn't need to be.

From how he dressed, she assumed he must be from an influential family. She wanted to thank him for his help the previous day, but felt he was too good to be seen with her and didn't want to embarrass him.

She cleared her throat and said, "Well, thank you very much for helping me, Mr...."

She didn't even know his name. All she knew was he seemed familiar.

.

Kelvin snapped out of the daze and realized that he was staring at the pretty girl in front of him, who had her head down as she spoke to him.

he thought.

Just then, a beautiful lady walked towards them, wrapping her arms around him in a hug, giving him a peck on the cheek. "Kelvin, darling." She said in a playful tone.

"And who is your friend?" She asked looking at Alisha and raising an eyebrow.

Alisha glanced up at the lady. She had wavy brown curls and blue eyes.

She wore a light pink dress. She looked like a princess with her perfect features and bright blue eyes.

Kelvin glanced at her, his eyes becoming colder. "She is someone I just decided to help," Kelvin replied curtly.

"Oh, yeah? Well, it was nice meeting you, Miss..." She trailed off with a slight hint of suspicion.

"Let's go." The deep baritone voice ordered, before pulling the lady away without for once, glancing back.

Alisha felt uncomfortable hearing this and embarrassed. She didn't mean to be upset but she couldn't help it. She was embarrassed because she thought he wanted to make fun of her. She took out her purse to pay for her items but the items had already been paid for.
