Unlocking The Truth

Lyra's:

The book I read in the Great Bookery mentioned about me possessing the power of telekinesis. Maybe it was what I had used in that book. I might have been able to use it freely because the book had been infused with magic.

I wanted to try this theory of mine out. I closed my eyes and focused my concentration on a particular book on the shelf. Then I imagined myself reaching out to it with my mind and pulling the book to the reading table.

I could barely feel any energy extending towards the book and I opened my eyes to see that the book was still there, the exact same position it was seconds before I closed my eyes.

I tried again, focusing deeper into the energy I could feel coursing through my veins. Suddenly, I heard a slight tug and I opened my eyes immediately to see the book hovering in mid-air.
