The Rock's Of Teleportation

Tristan's POV:

Earlier

I felt a sharp pain in my hand and I saw that I had been bruised. Surprisingly, my super-healing abilities did not knock in.

That was weird. Normally I shouldn't be able to feel the nick as it would have already closed up as soon as it opened. Was something happening to my powers?

I decided to go look for Lyra and clear out the air between us even though I had seen nothing wrong with what I had said.

"Where is Lyra's room?" I asked a maid in the hallway.

She directed me to one of the guestrooms. To my amazement, it was very far away from my room. It was as if Alexander wanted to keep us apart by keeping us in two separate wings of the palace. Well, that wasn't going to stop me.

I entered her room and heard the sound of the shower running. "She must be in the bathroom," I thought as I ran to close the door.
