CHAPTER THIRTY-NINE

(Ethan's POV)

I was feeling bad. I started to regret having a robot driving my car. It would have been better if I was the driver. Out of anger, I got out of the car to get some air. The car had an air conditioner but that didn't satisfy me at all. What I needed was fresh air spraying in my face.

Genevieve was still on my mind. The thought of having her in the hospital was sickening my mind. I tried to take it off my mind but I wasn't able to do that successfully. I was the one responsible for any pain which she might be feeling in the hospital right now.

I didn't know what to do now. I felt like driving back to the hospital to check on Genevieve but I knew I shouldn't do that. Genevieve needed me but my office needed me as well. It wouldn't sound so well for me to neglect my work. That would only help in destroying things and making me worry more.
