Chapter 7: Dark Desires

¶¶ THE CAVE OF THE LYCANTHROPES ¶¶

It was a little dark in here, and due to the fire sticks that were hanging on the walls the luminous flame from it deprived darkness of its totality. The cave was extremely ancient, which was located under a rock, deep down the mountains where no man's foot has ever set on.

" My lord, I have searched everywhere for the item but I couldn't find it ".

" Don't ever tell me that was an excuse ". A man in a black hood garment stood up from his chair and the figure began to walk towards him with red eyes coming closer and closer and closer till he was standing a few inches away from him.

His whole body was covered with animal fur. His face was hidden behind a black mask as others believe that his face was scary to behold. He was probably the Lycan of the Lycanthropes one of the oldest or the oldest werewolves pack in history. The story has it that his pack was wiped out from the record of history because he revolted against his race and fought humanity.

Then, he was unstoppable with the main aim of finding Luther's Scroll and the Trinity. Luther's scroll was the scroll that contained the details of how the Galaxy came to be when it was created by the gods when they stood at the centre of reality, creating it. While the Trinity was an ancient symbol believed to be very powerful enough to open the power of heaven, connecting the other two realms and combining the powers of the earthly realm, heavenly and demon realm, used to create a dimension that could access the power of the full moon and bestowing the person the power of a god or goddess over all creatures.

But his plans were thwarted when he was very deadly and unstoppable because he drank the infinity Elixir made once in a thousand years when a red moon undergo lunar eclipse.

Owing to this fact, he was wanted to destroy the home of the crescents, who were responsible for keeping the balance between werewolves and humanity.

Later, he managed to wipe them out and this act provoked the moon goddess that she has to lay a curse on him and banish him and at the Same time eliminate His pack.

But a thousand years later, he finally broke the banishment seal on his head and he came back again to finish what he started. And he was for old, known as the " The Father of Ages ". Although only a few called him by his name since he was among the second generation of his kind.

" I have waited for thousands of years for this, and your silly excuse will only slow down my progress ". And with just a snap of his fingers and the man who came to give him the report fell and died on the spot.

" clear this body immediately ". The thousand-year-old ruthless Lycan commanded.

He paced back and front of his Royal chair and out of anger he roared

" I don't know why I kept soldiers who are so dumb. I could have done this on my own the day the silver moon appeared. I can't wait any longer, time is not my friend. But who knew that you guys would fail and halt my plans for the very moment. I never made this mistake years ago but here I am making some silly and frustrating mistake ".

Now I have finally killed the alpha of the polatan pack and managed to retrieve Luther's scroll to carry out my grand plan. But my plans were capsized by my very own men who lost the Trinity thousand years ago,"

He grabbed one of the cups on his table and squeezed it, to subdue his anger.

He took a few steps towards the left of the room and he walked briskly down a pathway that looked like one that lead to a dungeon. His abode was filled with total darkness and the Aura that emanated from him was very deadly. One will scream and faint if you were to go down that pathway that almost looks like one that leads to hell.

Standing on a higher platform, he swapped his hands and light began to shine brightly at the door of the dungeon.

The dungeon was located in the deepest part of the building. It was well protected and heavily guarded with traps and other poisonous creatures that roam in the dark dungeon.

The dungeon had many cells where victims or people who committed crimes were locked. The dungeon was divided into two.

One of them is the one that contains humans and the other one was the one where werewolves of any other important being were erect to prevent them from escaping or breaking the cage.

He took a light from one of its holders and walked inside the dungeon. He came and stopped at the front of an old cell that looks dirty and unkempt. He put back the light on an empty light holder and opened the door of that particular cell and walked in.

" Hello sorceress, it's Been a while now. I hope you have been doing pretty well in your new house ? You know am such a nice and benevolent personal that his magnanimity is outstanding ".

" I have told you numerous times that I don't know about what you are looking for ". The sorceress said

" you know not even you can stop me from getting what I want, even when the werewolf sage wanted to stop me, he faced his demise.

Therefore, not even you can stop me ". He Chuckled

" I never knew were this rebellious, had I know, I would have sliced your throat the very day you came to me seeking for my help to be the sorceress of your clan and I exterminated everyone that stood your way. Even the gods know that you're just my puppet". He laughed devilishly.

" you see my sorceress, the both of us are in the same boat, blinded with the Passion to get power and rule in our perspective and way of life. From my thinking, I see it is nice if we work together to achieve our goals. Let combine our forces and control the world at our fingertips", he said lifting her chin with his hand.

" Only a fool will work with you", she gnarled.

" haha, stop making things difficult for yourself. ".

She immediately bite his hand so hard that he yelled in pain.

" Oh shit, I don't know that this sorceress had some tricks up her sleeve. I would have killed you when I had the opportunity ". He went straight to where she was and he slapped her hard sending her a bit backwards.

" I would have killed you for such an act but not now, I still have other plans for you. He barked and left her cell immediately.

He walked a bit further and opened another cell and in it lay a woman whose hair was in a mess due to the frequent torture she was subjected to for a long time now.

When he brought the light closer to her face low and behold, an old woman who was bounded to the wall with shackles holding her wrist and legs.

" Are you ready to tell me what happened two days before the war broke out? he snapped.

" what happened two days earlier before the war? She asked.

" Yes".

" Really? What happened? What are you talking about? She asked with curiosity.

" I think you don't know what happened. I never expected the former Alpha to be this wise to hide such a huge secret from all of you for a very long time. He's a deceiving vessel. He laughed.

" What secret?

" Oh I almost forgot, I got some things to deal with now see you later," he said and left within a second putting the miserable old woman in suspense.

" What secret is he talking about ?....
