Chapter 35: I Hate You

      Vanessa remains still as George withdraws back with confusion in his eyes, lips part to say something but I beat him to it.

  " I'm sorry, it's not like I don't like you but I barely know you, I only know your name and a few information about you ".

   Mumbling, I watch him move back to his seat and run his hands through that brown wavy hair of his and then it hits me, we both have the same color of hair which means nothing.

" I understand Vanessa, I was taking things too fast for you, this is our first date, I shouldn't be thinking that " he smiled

 " go on, ask me whatever you wish to know ".

" Are you sure?" 

" Yea why not, they is nothing I wish to hide " 

" Who is aqua? " mumbling, I relax back on the chair. " I remember you calling me that name which means, ``she is someone close to you and I look like her?" He nod and I purred " tell me about her " 

" she is beautiful, the most beautiful in our kingdom back then, men flocks around her, asking her hand for marriage, throwing gifts and different other things to get her attention " George look so sad as he narrate the story of this woman " we were suppose to get married but someone murdered her "

" I'm sorry " , moving my hands over to him. I hold his hand. 

  " Did you find the killer??" 

" No Vanessa, I don't even know his name " George exhale.

  " That is in the past now Vanessa, though I can't denied the fact that you look exactly like her but your characters aren't same " 

" alright "the atmosphere around him already turn dark and sad, changing the topic I mumble " tell me about your family, mum, dad, siblings " 

" I have a twin " he mumble " I was a only child then, but he died when he was a baby, killed by lycans " 

" lycans??" 

" Yes," he nodded. " It was a long time ago, I can't remember the details tho " I had nothing to say because it was during one of the wars that broke out between Werewolves and humans, so he died mysteriously when my mother was trying to save him. Since then, I have become lonely.

   " What about Prince Eleven? I haven't seen him"

  "Oh about him? Well, he's a cold type, who normally spends his time reading or hunting. You'll never see him unlike others unless it's necessary."

  Not wanting to ask more about his private life, I diverted my attention to the beautiful scenery outside the restaurant. 

 "This room has turn to small sad heaven, let's head out...I have something else to show you " 

" Now?" 

" Yes now " he hold my hand and we move out of the restaurant into the carriage" I want to take you somewhere else, a place you will love " 

" What is it? " 

" Ice cream shop " 

" How did you know I love ice cream!" I  practically yell at the ice cream when we arrive. The shop looks huge, so when we get in we sit down and wait for them to serve us. 

  " All girls love it so I guess you would " 

 " Oh I love it ".

  When the waiter arrives with it, I dig in almost immediately " I just hope I don't get fat from it one day " the moment I finish talking George chuckle, holding his stomach laughing " what's funny?"

 " The ice cream..." He talks while laughing " is like a mustache on your upper lip, moving my hands there I couldn't help but to laugh with him.

" How was your first date " George mumble when he walk to the door 

 " Hope you liked it " 

" I loved it " smiling I move into his arms and hug him

   "Thanks, it was fun" , kissing his cheek. I wave to him before moving into the house and shutting the door, the lights off which means everyone is asleep.

Moving to my room I stare at the time and it's three AM. I know fully well that if I sleep now I will be late for work so I didn't sleep. I stayed awake, changed clothes and when it's time, I walked to the mansion.

My eyes must be really red. 

After the assembly I move to the pets, feed them, water the flowers. When suddenly someone spoke behind me.

  " You're quiet" Rose asks and I nod.

   " Did the master hurt you really bad yesterday, I mean your eyes are red " 

 " Oh no, he didn't do anything to me " smiling I mumble " I just couldn't get some rest last night, I went out on a date " 

" A date?" 

" Yep " smiling ``I keep watering the plant " and trust me, it was awesome, amazing and dreamy " telling her some interesting part and where he took me, we chuckle and within no time am moving upstairs with materials to clean the master's bedroom.

  Today is the last day of the week, which means I won't be cleaning the master's bedroom next week. 

 Opening his door, I step in and shut it.

 " You have no manners of knocking Vanessa ".

  Hearing his voice, I move my gaze to his direction, putting on a black long sleeve, black trouser with a cigarette in his hand.

 " Forgive me master, I thought you would be in your army today ".

   When I remember what happened between us yesterday my face turned flush, he punished me and it did hurt so why am I blushing?

" Your eyes are red" he furrowed his brows " Did you cry?" 

" Oh no" dropping the equipment down I look at him " I couldn't sleep last night "

" And why was that?".

  He stands on his feet and moves towards my direction, why is he so tall?? I had to lift my gaze up for me to look at his face, he said he hates lies but what do I tell him, the truth? So what if I went on a date, is it not like we are dating?

   " I asked you a question Vanessa " 

" I went on a date" the moment the words left my mouth I step back and cover my arse with my hands, moving backwards.

" what are you doing?" He tilted his head to his right, studying me.

" You went on a date without my permission?  ". An evil grin appeared on his face immediately and the atmosphere in the room changed immediately.

   He inches his right brows high.

  " So you do know you did wrong by going on a date with someone else?"

   Stepping closer, I could feel my body touch the wall but he only took two steps then stopped.

 " Come " when the words left his mouth, I opened my eyes shocked, he is really going to punish me.

    " Vanessa!"

Moving quickly to his side I stop an inch away from him

   " If you knew going would make me punish you, why did you go?" he asked, his voice getting rough

   " You love him?" 

" Oh no ,"  I said, shaking my head.

  " Is  just that, He made the request and I promised him about it so I said one date won't hurt." I watch Alexander hand move to my neck, trace a particular spot before moving to my cheek, my lips, robbing them.

" Did you two kiss?" 

"Why can't I lie to him? I just don't know why I feel this way. I am sure if George is to touch me this way I will slap him or push him away but with Alexander it feels like I am meant to be close to him, with him, to stay with him.

To be committed to him even if I don't want to.

" No" I finally answer, he didn't smile and those eyes didn't move from me as he lean close and whisper to my ears;

   " Good girl Vanessa, you have been a good girl" , withdrawing his mumble.

 . " But going on this date still annoys me. All part of you belongs to me, don't you get it?" 

" Am sorry " the words came out before I realized it, so why am I apologizing? Oh yes, I need to calm him down before he changes his mind and punishes me again.

" Apology accepted, " he shrugs, then withdraws. 

  "Do  your job Vanessa, we are done for today " I watch him move towards his table, sit down, turn on his laptop then put on his ear pod.

He lacks romance.

He is annoying.

He is too proud.

He needs scolding.

I hate him.

And with all these things in my head I had no idea when I mumble

   " I hate you '' loud and clear, nobody needs to tell me what will happen next, the question that should be asked.

 "Are you  ready for round two?

" What did you say?" He furrowed his brow and turned his full attention to me. Right now he looks dangerous but that didn't bother me today. 

" I hate you, I don't like your attitude, I don't like your proud self, your need for accuracy and submission, I don't like you and this relationship you are building in your head is never working " yelling he didn't move from his seat, just kept staring at me.

  " And you know what?, if not that you saved me and brought me here, I will slap you at the face and quit "

" Are you done?" He yawned before putting his cigarette back into his mouth  but his gaze didn't move from mine.

" No, I am not done " moving close to him. I pull out the cigarette, drop it on the floor and step on it.

 " Enough of all this!". I didn't know where I gathered all the courage to take such an action.

A smile forms in the corner of his lips " Are you done?" Confused with his character I frowned;

 . " Yes, I am done " and with that he turned around, back to the balcony and that's when I realized he was addressing everybody below the conference hall.

All the board members mouth open wide " Did she just yell at the third prince?"

" The third prince did nothing but smile at her " 

" Does the third prince have a woman?"

They kept mumbling but all my focus was on Alexander, he didn't raise his hand or shout at me, just smile and get back to work.

  " Vanessa, go back to work, we will talk later " his tone like always, you won't know if he is happy or sad.

This man confuses me...
