Office Task

"Thank you Mina. Tell me one more thing . Will he still fire me when he's back?" Lucy asked again and the lady shivered with fear. This only increased Lucy's interest in her mystery man.

The edge to kill him was more drool worthy. She couldn't wait till the day she will call him an ass h*le while he dies. A crazy hot girl has gotten herself a cold ice to handle. This place might not be boring after all.

"A set of paper works are already on your desk. Finish it before five. We will close around four but you will stay to five". Mina said one last time and walked out. Stay till five. What the hell. Damn this wasn't an easy task. Lucy cried within and watched the paper works scattered on the table.

"What sought of business have this many papers? Metly, Shirley, Irene ;for fucking sake. What the hell have you trapped me into?" She sat down and begun to flip through the pages. The best show of boredom could be seen directly in her eyes.

She inhaled deeply and begun to flip through all afresh but slowly. It spoke about real estates , software developing and hotels. Was this their kind of business? She continued to flip and saw some blank spaces which had to be filled. Luckily for her, the little years in college paid off and she was able to align them correctly .

By the time she was done, it was 3hours past five and she didn't realise until she went out. Every office was locked and the lights were partially out. Taking her phone out, she watched the time and gasped loud.

" 8:32pm. I haven't even eaten " How was she to go home? Mr Henry personally told her that he wouldn't pick her because he was the boss driver. She sighed and went out with a debating mind. . What was she going to do. How was she to locate her apartment now.

"This is my card. Call me if you are having issues with July". These words were flashbacks of Lucy as she remembered the card in her purse.

She removed it from her left pocket and dialled continuously but he didn't respond. Lucy never gave up, she continued trying her luck .

Meanwhile, Jason was on his way from meeting up with his brother , who was actually his cousin. He was glad Dylan finally made up with Urati( Dylan's girlfriend) . They both pressurized him to find a girl else he would end up marrying his work. He chuckled at their childish talk.

"Drive faster Henry. I'm exhausted" . He ushered from his lips and his driver obeyed accordingly. Suddenly, a loud noice echoed in the car making Jason to get startled.

"What was that?". His widened eyes asked and Henry took out a phone and showed him.

"I'm sure it's not an important call sir. All important contacts are saved". Henry tried to assure Jason but the phone kept ringing over and over again.

"Stop the car and answer the call. It might be urgent. No sensible person calls this way if there isn't an emergency" Jason ordered as Henry sighed and parked at a corner with his fingers tapping the answer and loud speaker button.
