CHAPTER SEVENTEEN

Penny and Leah look at me as I smile and rub my hands together.

"What?" I ask them.

"I…..we don't think that would be possible." Leah says.

"I don't follow. What's the problem?" I ask with a look of confusion in my eyes.

"Alpha Kalista, we cannot have breakfast with you at the table." Penny explains.

"Yeah, the head stewardess mentioned when we were cooking your food that we are maids, and that we are supposed to eat and sleep in the maids' quarters." Leah adds.

I chuckle softly. "Don't mind her, okay? You guys are with me, and your job is to do as I tell you…do you understand?" I ask them and they nod slowly.

We all walk out of the room, with me in front of the two of them. The walk to the dining room is slow, and quiet, and I am in the mood for anything that happens this morning.
