Chapter 124

Nora was about to pounce on a deer when she caught the scent of a werewolf. Immediately, she climbed the tree closest to her. She could not be smelled, but she could be seen. 

Like other rogues, Nora used a mixture of herbs to camouflage the scent of her species, this served so that they could go unnoticed by the other wolves and thus not be hunted. Of course, some used it so they could attack the gangs. It wasn't her case.

She watched as a tall, dark-haired werewolf passed by. Something about him kept her from looking at anything else. She felt compelled to go to him. It was stronger than he was.

The male apparently, even without smelling her as a wolf, sensed that something was there. He needed to stop and turn around.

"What's up, Kendrick?" Gawk the Gamma asked.

"Is there someone here..." he spoke softly. "Can't you feel it?"

"No… "

"She's...she..."

"Oh, a female…"

Nora was listening and was shocked. Did he feel her, too?
