Chapter 6: Impossible

Emma looked into the man's deep eyes. She couldn't hide her guilt, but she said coldly, "I have nothing to say to you."

The man frowned and asked in a low and stern voice, "Are you sure?"

"Sorry, we are in a hurry to get on the plane."

With that, Emma went on to say to Avery, "You should go back now. I'll take the kids in."

Avery hurriedly put Ella on the ground, and help the kids’ hands as she attempted to leave.

"Are you sure you don't want to talk to me about our kids?" Behind her, the man's deep and seductive voice echoed.

Emma, who’s holding the kids' hands, suddenly trembled. She froze in fear and felt helpless.

"Mommy, are you all right?" Ella asked with concern.

Asher looked up at Emma and then looked back at the man. When Asher saw the man approaching, he immediately broke away from Emma's hold and took a few steps toward him. Spreading his little arms and furrowing his eyebrows, he barked at him, "Don't come near my Mommy."

As a young boy, Asher's demeanor was imposing, which was very similar to Liam's. Now, everything was clear to Liam.

A trace of surprise and joy flashed in Liam's eyes. At first glance, he knew that the little boy was his son as they exude the same aura, and their facial features were almost the same.

He bent down and looked into Asher's eyes. He smiled and said, "I won't hurt her. I just want to talk to her about you and your sister, as well as our past."

Emma bit her lip and thought, "Why is he pestering me? Our past? We had never even met before"

‘Well, except for that night which I know he didn’t remember.’

She turned around and said to Avery, "Avery, help me take care of the kids. I'll talk to this gentleman first."

Avery immediately came over, held the kids, and walked towards the lounge that a bit far from them.

The two little kids couldn't help but look back over and over again, looking forward to hearing some good news from their parents.

Liam turned around and watched those lovely kids walk away from him. He could not hide the surprise on his face. He did not expect that he already had two pups.

As the kids walked away, Emma turned around and looked coldly at Liam. "What do you want to talk about? Hurry up, I don't have much time."

It was the first time Liam had seen her at such a close distance. Her small face was delicate and beautiful, and her almond-shaped eyes were bright and clear with a hint of anger; but she was still so cute.

"They are my kids, right?" Liam asked directly in a deep voice, and his eyes were fixated on her.

Emma looked back at him with disdain and retorted, "No. We have never met before. My kids have a father, but it’s not you."

Since Asher really looked like Liam, Emma was a bit worried.

"Are you sure we've never met?" Liam smiled mysteriously.

"Positive!"

Emma could lie without hesitation for the sake of her pups.

"Hey, you slept with me five years ago, and now you're keeping my kids away from me. You are indeed brave to challenge me." The man's voice was low and charming, but it was filled with anger.

Emma looked shocked and retorted in a panic, "Five years ago? But we haven't met before. I don't even know who you are."

Staring at her panic-stricken face with his sharp eyes, Liam snorted and said, "Don't lie to me, girl. We know each other. You know very well where we met and how we met. Then again, that night, we had a deeper connection, don't you think so?"

Emma's mind went blank upon hearing his words. ‘How was that possible? How did he know that I was the one he had sex with five years ago?’
