CHAPTER TEN

Note: Welcome to another chapter of my book🥳🥳🥳🥳. Three new characters will be introduced in this chapter and hopefully for this chapter only. They may appear again as we continue.

Those are the new characters. The waitress to be specific will not appear in the rest of the book in the rest of the book. The other two may appear again but we will never know. Anything can happen. Anyway, enjoy this new chapter.

Angel's POV

Today, Rory and I planned on going to the saloon for a manicure and pedicure day. We wanted to get our nails done before going back home this week. Today is Sunday, Jason's coronation. If you guessed that I am using the mani-pedi day to distract myself from the fact that my mate is getting crowned alpha of one of the most strongest pack in the world and am not there, then you guessed right. So after I got Rory updated about everything that was going on in Atlanta, she decided that a nail day would be a perfect distraction, which I hope it will be. Right now, Rory and I were in our pjs having breakfast which consisted of a fruit bowl because we were feeling healthy. Lol

            After breakfast, Rory and I went to our rooms to shower. I walked into my room and grabbed my phone from my bed to see the 100th text message from Jason. If you have guessed that I am ignoring him, then you guessed right, I am ignoring him because I don't know what to say to him. He is pretty mad and sad that I am not there right now but I can't be there neither can I bring myself to read or reply his messages. I dropped my phone on the bed and went into the bathroom. I wrapped my hair in a bun cause I didn't want to wash it. I undressed and threw my dirty laundry in the hamper and went into the bathroom and had a well deserved shower. After my shower I dried my body and wrapped myself in my fluffy robe. I went to my closet and sat on my couch and applied my oils and moisturizer to my entire body. When I was done, I grabbed some underwear from my underwear drawer and threw it on, then I picked out my outfit for the day and wore it. When I was done getting dressed, I left my closet and sat at my vanity and applied my makeup for the day which I kept really simple.

   When I was done, I grabbed my bag, wallet,  phone and walked out of the bathroom to the sitting to wait Rory who wasn't done yet. Few minutes later, Rory came down the stair looking fabulous.

  This girl had one hell of a fashion sense, I tell you. She always looks so gorgeous.

    "You ready" I asked getting up from the couch

     "Yeah.  Let's go" she said fixing her her while coming towards me.

    We walked out of the living room to the garage and I let Rory pick out car for the day on a random guess which is what I normally do. She ended up picking the 2022 GLS 63 S AMG 4MATIC. Amazing car. One of our newest additions. Awesome pick I tell you.

She handed the key over to me and we went to the car. We got it in and drove out of the garage and then out of the compound and into the city. We went to a nail salon I frequently visited in New York. When we got in, we got comfortable and let the staff get to work. Let me tell you, it was heaven. We showed the ladies what we wanted and they did it to perfect. Our nails looked amazing and we loved it

 When we were done, we went to a fancy restaurant and had lunch. The service was great. After lunch, we went to home which by noon already. Getting home, we parked the car and went inside. We decided to watching the entire Doctor Strange movies both part 1 and 2. But first we went to our room and freshened up and got dressed in some lounge set

 After we freshened up, we meet in the kitchen and grabbed some snacks and drinks for our mini movie marathon. We went to the cinema, put the movie on and got comfortable with our snacks in hand. After we finished Doctor Strange 1 and 2, we watched Spider-Man too(all the ones Tom Holland acted). By the time we were done it was dinner time already, Mom got home at the beginning of Spider-Man;No way home. After we were done, we cleaned up the cinema and got ourselves ready for dinner.

    When we were done we dinner, Mom, Rory and I grabbed a glass of wine and lounged by the pool side under the full moon talking until midnight. Jason's coronation had already taken place, Mom and I felt the shift in power, Me more than Mom because of my connection with Jason. I felt all his emotions ranging from his happiness about being crowned to this anger that I was ran away then to his sadness that I wasn't there. You may ask how I fell all these emotions from Jason especially when we are not fully mated, well we just have that connection. I would say that our bond is stronger, at the end of the day our souls are linked together forever.  When it was midnight, we all called it a night went to rooms for a goodnight rest, which was needs for the upcoming week ahead of us.

Morning....

In the morning, Mom, Rory and I decided to go to the Hamptons and spend the day at the beach while having breakfast. I mean it was summer, night as well spend time at the beach. When we were done with breakfast, we all went to our rooms, got dressed and packed for the Hamptons. Since, it was a last minute decision, we couldn't get a hotel to stay for the day and we didn't have those big buses, we decided to take our 2021 Lincoln Navigator SUV and use it for everything we need.

So instead of going to the hotel when we need a break from the beach, we would use the car as a break area instead. When we were done with getting dressed and pack for the day, we met up in the living room and went out through the front door because Mom had asked our butler Uncle Ben to tell the driver Paul to bring the car out of the garage to front of the house. Rory and I loaded our things on the trunk while Mom got into the backseat and got comfy, Rory closed the trunk of the car and got into the backseat as well and sat opposite Mom. I said goodbye to Uncle Ben before getting into the and sat beside Rory. We had the driver Paul play some music, made a stop at the coffee shop for some iced coffee for the road. The entire almost 2 hours drive to the Hamptons was fun filled, we took pictures for Facebook and IG and made TicTok videos.

When we got to the Hamptons, we went to the East Hampton Main Beach. The Paul(the driver) parked the car and we with the help of the driver got our loaded our stuff out of the trunk and took them to the beach side, when we found a good ocean view spot, we and Paul( the driver) set up our umbrella and chairs that we brought with us and arranged the ready of our stuff. When we were done, Paul went back to the car or maybe to the bar but he was to hang around until it was time to go while Mom went to grab us some drinks while Rory and I pulled out coverups and were left in our bikinis. We sat on our chairs with our sunglasses on, we grinned at each other before staring at the ocean view.

When Mom came back from the bar, she handed us our cold drinks and sat on her chair too. We all laid in our chairs enjoyed the vibes at the beach. After some resting time, Rory forced me on my feet and pulled my very reluctant self to the water. We swam for a few minutes before getting out because we wanted to grab our phones to film some videos. After we got our phone, we went back into the water and swam some more. We were able to book a last minute scuba diving lessons and we all went scuba diving too, which was so much fun. Rory and I even made some sand castles after we paid some kids 50bucks to lend us their buckets so we could get some water. When we were done making sand castle, we went back into the water and got rid of all the sand on our body, then we went back to our spot, dried off, wore our sunglasses and laid on our chairs. Rory brought out the novels she brought with her and offered me some, I picked a random one which was titled Magic Embrace by Jennifer Horsman and started reading it. The book is a great one and I am not even half way through. Around 5:45pm,the sun was just started going down, Mom decided we need to call it a day and back to New York City before it got too late. We called the driver before we got up from our chair, got dressed in our coverups, parked up, he came and helped us carry out things and we left the sand to the parking lot, we loaded our stuff back in the trunk of the car, we got into the car and he drove off towards the city.

When we got to the city, we stopped by a pizza place and grabbed some dinner before we got home. When we got home, we placed the pizza on he kitchen counter and went to our rooms for a shower to wash off the salt water from the beach off our bodies and hair. After I was done, I got dressed, grabbed my phone and called Andy and we talked for a while before saying goodbye to each other. After talking to Andy, I went downstairs to the kitchen where Mom and Rory already were, devouring the pizza we bought, I grabbed a plate and put a slice of pizza on it and I grabbed and started eating that one while I grabbed myself a glass and poured some apple juice in it. I sat beside Rory and devour while going through all the angry messages Jace sent to me, after going through the message, I replied him; telling him that I will see him soon. I wanted to tell that I missed him but I didn't want to sound sappy and he needs to suffer a bit for throwing me across the hall last week. After dinner, we went to the movie room and watched 'Purple Hearts', the movie just came out and it was amazing. It has to been one of my favorite movies this year. I love it. After we finished the movie, Mom decided to call it a night for herself cause she had work in the morning while Rory and I decided to 'Old Guard'. After the movie ended we decided to call it a night and went to bed with peace in our hearts. Nightie Night.

Morning (Tuesday)........

In the morning, Andy and I had breakfast with Mom because we are savoring every minute with Mom because we were going back to Atlanta on Wednesday afternoon so we can make it to school on Thursday. Mom had already spoken to Jason's father and Jason about Rory and they had already accepted her, she just need to go in for the private initiation when we get back to the pack. Mom also had Rory enrolled in school. We were going to grab some school supplies for Rory, so we don't have to do it in Atlanta because if we don't do the shopping now, we would have to go on Thursday when we get to Atlanta and we wanted to resume school on Thursday.

After breakfast, Mom left for work while Rory and I went to our rooms to shower and get ready for the day. I got to my room, put my hair in a bun before jumping into the shower. When I was done, I got dressed, styled my hair and put on a light makeup.

When I was done, I grabbed my phone and my purse before heading to the living room. Rory was already waiting for looks so cute in her outfit. I have got to steal this dress.

"I am definitely raiding your closet Rory. You look sexy" I said complimenting her outfit.

"I actually took it from your closet when I first got here" she said laughing which made me laugh because I was planning on stealing my own dress. Well Rory's dress now.

"I was going to steal what used to be mine. It's like stealing from a thief" I said still laughing.

"Hey, I didn't steal it. It isn't called stealing if someone was there when the action took place and Mama Rose was there when I took the dress" she said sassily, flipping her hair over her shoulder. Which made us erupt in laughter. We took some more pictures and posted some videos on TikTok. We went out the front door and got into our 2020 Ford F-150.

Which was already waiting for us with our driver ready to take us where we wanted because I didn't feel like driving and Rory didn't want to drive because she enjoyed being driven everywhere. Lazy ass birch. We left the house to the mall. We got Rory's school supplies and some other things we wanted to get When we were done shopping, we placed our shopping bags in the trunk and went to grabbed some lunch to go from an Italian restaurant. When we got to the restaurant, Rory and I got out of the car and went inside. Rory took a sit at one of the empty boots while I went to the front desk to place an order.

"Good afternoon" I greeted the waitress whose make is Daria

"Afternoon miss, what can I get for you" She asked politely

"I would like a serving of Lasagna, Risotto and Pasta with some fried chicken and turkey to go please. While that is getting ready 2 glasses of sparkling water for the table over there" I said to the salesgirl who was jotting down my order.

"Okay miss. Your food will be ready soon and I will have someone bring you your drinks" she said giving a smile. I gave her my debit card and paid for our food and drinks before going to sit with Rory while the food got ready. A minute later, our sparkling water was brought to us and drank our water while waiting for our food.

After our food was ready, we grabbed our food and went out side to the car and had the driver take us to Mom's company because we wanted to have lunch. We spent lunch with Mom which was great. After lunch we went home and starting packing for our journey home tomorrow. After we were done, we took a nap before it was time for dinner.
