Another Tribe?

The girl was still crying her eyes out, no matter how much Walter tried to calm her with his wise husband's words, it wasn't enough, the girl was terrified, almost to a dramatic point.

— Tell me, you did this to this girl, right? — Walter looked back at me one more time while having his hand on the girl's shoulder

— No, Walter, c'mon, you really think I am a creep? This tribe is insane, people have powers, there's a chief woman that is power hungry possessed by an ancient goddess that wants to reincarnate in the chief woman's daughter, there's a magical vase, there's magical powers, there's magical jungles, illusions. — I talked and talked in an accelerated manner almost getting out of breath, Walter just looked at me completely baffled then I took a long gasp before concluding.

— All of that you would know if you read my book, did you read it, Walter? — I asked with a complete change of expression on my face and voice, like I was proud of my work and really I was, it was all true after all, no longer insane like everyone said I was.

— I was going to read it to my kid, he likes those fairy tales stories, but I am too busy working for you, Mr. Craft, so yeah. — Walter had an ironic smirk throughout his whole answer

I sighed, putting my hand on my face in disappointment and also stress, I even turned my back on him to see if someone was behind me, Diana's tent was pretty quiet, surprising since I threw a grenade at her underground shrine or whatever it was, maybe I buried everything and everyone with the explosion, I could only hope.

When I turned back to Walter, suddenly the girl stopped crying, adjusted her head and posture like she got possessed and simply said the words.

— Yes, master.

Walter got scared by that, even taking a few steps backwards

— What in the...?!

— Walter, please, our plane crashed, even you said it was someone that did it, do you believe it now that this place is fucked?

— Mr. Craft... her eyes are completely white... She's dead! — He ignored me completely, focused only on what he was seeing, terrified.

The only thing left to do was to approach Walter with a hurry in my steps, grabbing his shoulder with both hands so he could pay attention to me.

— Goddamn it, Walter! Listen to me, we need to get out of this place, are you seeing this girl? Do you believe me now?

We got interrupted by the girl who slowly turned her head to us and again with direct words she said.

— Follow me...

That time even I got a bit intimated, while Walter still had his mouth open, completely confused and scared.

— Holy shit... the dead talks!

The girls started to walk straight ahead into the jungle, which forced Walter to keep his drama.

— And the dead walks!

That broke my attention from the girl, mostly I was staring at her round ass when she was walking forward, thanks to Walter dramatic state I was robbed of that beautiful imagery, instead looking to his dumb scared face

— Let's go, we don't have much choice, it's better than staying here, believe me.

Immediately I let go of Walter's shoulders to follow the girl, still lagging behind, I wasn't sure if it was fear of messing with a white eyed possessed lady or because I wanted to check her ass bouncing with each step she took, but even mesmerized by that, I realized the girl looked different from the other ones, at least the ones that were down there in the underground. She was pale in comparison to the tanned people of the tribe, considering we were in tropical weather, and had big brown dreads on her, almost reaching her butt.

While I was trying to find my answers in my head, I got interrupted by Walter rushing right beside me, still looking confused and wanting more answers, from his voice tone he was clearly still afraid.

— Mr. Craft! Mr. Craft! Please, at least borrow me your gun, did we lose everything? How did I survive? What is happening?! — Which each question he grew more and more desperate and paranoid, I knew the feeling, honestly, so I wasn't going to be judgmental or giving him crap while we were walking to some unknown destination, or to our inevitable death, who knows, the only hope I was attached on was the fact that the girl was scared shitless before getting possessed and she was going away from Diana and her tribe, like she was getting guided by a savior of some sort.

— Walter, everything I said is true, there's an ancient vase of a goddess giving supernatural abilities to these people, there's an underground place in a tent back there where the vase is, they were the ones that crashed your plane with a energy ball of some sort. — I tried to keep my voice down while explaining everything to Walter, for the first time he decided just to listen in curiosity instead of cutting me off or being annoyed by my antics.

— That vase possessed the chief from the tribe, it's a woman, she can do illusion of all sorts and also she's the one who healed you and me, why you might ask? Well, I would assume she wants to have a baby, so the soul from the goddess in the vase can reincarnate and probably destroy everything, since you know, she's bitter from living in a vase for thousands of years, stuff you would know if you read my book.

My explanations didn't change Walter's expression, but at least he looked like he was believing some of it, asking stuff which was related to what I said.

— Wait... so she crashed the plane so she could use us for reproduction?

— From what I learned being in that tent, I believe so.

— Mr. Craft, I'm a happily married man with kids of my own, so I refuse, so now give me your gun so I can avoid cheating my wife with the most effective method, bullet to the head. — Suddenly he was all confident, like that was going to resolve anything.

— What? Is that how you deal with women trying to flirt with you?

— ...No, but you said she was dangerous and with superpowers, so that's the only way.

— Yeah, sure, you really believe a bullet can kill a superpower being? And you think I didn't try? Some old dude stopped the bullet mid air.

That sentence made Walter shut up for a moment and look down to the ground, probably reflecting about the whole situation and the conversation we were having, didn't last long though, he raised his head again.

— Did you do it?

— Do what? — I turned my head to Walter for the first time during the whole walk, legitimately confused.

— Fucked her, she has your child and we are doomed, right?

— No, what?! Excuse me? Stop thinking I fuck any girl that I see. — Seeing how frustrated I became with that question, I realized how bad I was at lying or omitting stuff, he could read right through me.

— Yep, you did. Unbelievable. — That time it was Walter's expression that looked like he was proud of himself, like he had all figured it out, but in reality it was only a half-truth.

— Alright, fine, I did it, but she didn't get pregnant, ok? I saw her put the vase on her belly and then the goddess said it didn't work while being really frustrated, so I think it's safe to assume I will not bring world destruction.

— Yeah, thank god for that, you can't impregnate anyone from what Sara has told me as well.

— She did what?! — That was enough to make me stop right in my tracks, ignoring if the girl was still walking ahead or not, Walter also stopped but with a bit of a smirk on his face, he surely knew how to mess with me, but that time we got interrupted once again, by a laugh from the girl, almost like a little girl's giggle, then she turned around while also revealing her amazing voluminous pale breasts with pink-ish nipples, obviously my glance went straight to them, even though she was talking.

— We have arrived, gentlemen.

She raised her hand to the side and a big portal started to open, it looked like another dimension even, but from what I could see, it was still a jungle, but it was day instead of night, very vibrant colors and a bunch of naked women running around, almost like the polar opposite from Diana's tribe were the majority of people were men.

She went straight through the portal and disappeared. Walter and I looked at each other for a moment and I had to give him a little jab because of what he said before.

— Fairy tale, huh? — Right after saying that, I smirked and started to walk towards the portal while looking at him, giving him an ironic salute with my hand on my forehead until I passed through the portal.
