Good hunting

"It's surprisingly slow..." Watching as Rika dodged the rabbit's attack and Kiriko started stabbing it repeatedly from behind, Saya rubbed her chin and quickly turned to Yuuki "Do you think you can stun it for a few seconds?"

"I think so, but I don't know if I can dodge his attacks... I manage to see them but I'm sure I won't dodge them at all."

"That should do it" Turning to Shizuka, Saya asked "Do you think you can give us all speed?"

"Mmmm" Frowning slightly in thought, Shizuka watched out of the corner of her eye as Rika luckily dodged the attacks and gritted her teeth "I'll do it!"

Nodding, Saya finally turned to Rei and asked seriously "Do you think you can throw an icicle towards the rabbit? We need it to be sturdy and at the very least dig into his skin."

"..." Looking at her mother with concern, Rei bit her lips and nodded hesitantly "If you give me at least a minute of time, I think I can."

"We'll give you that time" Nodding, Saya turned to the Saeko and continued "Even though Rika and Kiriko managed to damage it with brute force, they didn't manage to fully penetrate the skin, we need to stick it with something that can dig deep into it"

"Yuuki, get close enough but not to the point where you're in attack range, when I tell you to, charm it."

"I'll be helping as much as I can for the girls. My strength is not as much as Kiriko and Rika's, but I can help distract him" Staring at Saeko, Saya continued "I need you to cover Rei and Shizuka in case something gets close to him, they need full concentration"

"I'll handle it."

"Alright, Shizuka, as soon as we get inside, try to cast your ability and hold it as long as you can, but don't hurt yourself."

"Let's go!" running towards the rabbit, Saya exclaimed, while on the way she grabbed a long fallen log of about 1 meter and steady it with some difficulty.

Running after Saya, Rei gritted her teeth and raised both arms, while focusing entirely on forming ice in front of her.

Starting with a small grain of ice, little by little Rei made it grow, while shaping it would certainly take twice as much effort.

Raising her right hand, Shizuka closed her eyes and took a deep breath, then focused inward with considerable difficulty and drew out the energy she had already felt before.

Instantly a faint light enveloped the girls, while Rika smiled as she noticed her speed increase by at least 40%.

Standing in front of Rei and Shizuka, Saeko looked at the katana in her hands and turned her gaze towards the lazy Fenrir, then gritted her teeth and threw it to the side.

Remembering the position Fenrir used every time he attacked, Saeko imitated his movements to perfection and raised her two hands with her claws ready to tear whatever was in her way, while sweat ran down her face just because of the tension of the moment.

In less than 30 seconds, the girls were launched into a dangerous mission where each one had her own role to play and they would certainly benefit if they managed to survive.

Watching the small fight and listening to Saya's shouts for orders, Fenrir smiled slightly and growled softly.

Today Fenrir discovered a new kind of pride.

It's amazing how good it feels to see his pack learn to hunt and see results in them.

Fenrir may not know it yet, but the feeling is no different when you see your sons grow up and learn new things.

But although many would see him as a madman to expose his loved ones to such a risk, for him this situation is nothing more than a controlled training.

After all, these two months did not pass in vain and he certainly never stopped hunting.

If the first day he arrived he considered this rabbit a threat, today Fenrir knows perfectly well that he could finish him off in less than 30 seconds.

And not only that, there were several changes in his pack.

Turning his gaze towards the forest, Fenrir growled softly, causing more than 15 wolves to slowly approach him with their heads down.

These two months Fenrir met more and more wolves.

Not all of them are the same, some have dark fur, others are blue and others are green. As well as each one has different sizes, but for now Ankor is still the biggest of the pack, being already 6 meters tall.

No doubt eating so much food did wonders for these wolves, as they all gained bulk and size.

But that would only be noticeable if you keep in mind that every wolf Fenrir collected was in terrible condition.

Obvious states of malnutrition and at least half of them were wounded, constantly remarking how difficult life is in this place.

The names of the new wolves varied, Artic, Balto, Dunkan, Enko, Aila, among others, each and every one of them given by Fenrir.

And yes, Aila is a female name.

Fenrir had no problem in accepting a couple of wolves in his pack, being Dunkan and Aila two lone wolves who showed submission to Fenrir from the first moment they looked at him.

Although this certainly worried Saeko a little, who was a little worried that Fenrir would decide to make that female a beta.

But after talking with Fenrir and knowing from his mouth that he has no such intention, Saeko lowered her guard and understood Fenrir's mentality a little more.

Despite what Saeko read earlier in the books, Fenrir will allow his new members to form their own families, allow them to hunt alone if they want to, and even allow them to live around him, but he will never allow defiance towards him or his betas just as he will not allow infighting without his approval.

"Grrr~" Motioning with his hands towards a particulate wolf, Fenrir waited for it to arrive in front of him and commented "Anouk, did you manage to see the other pack?"

"Grrr" Nodding his head, Anouk who is now 6 feet tall and with obvious musculature on his body, growled again "Grrr.... grrr.... grrr."

Raising his eyebrows, Fenrir turned his gaze to the left and muttered "I see... they are more than us."

Just 2 days ago, Fenrir encountered another group of wolves.

Although he went about recruiting every wolf he saw, that was purely because each of them showed submission, they were loners without a pack and showed no aggression whatsoever.

But within a pack of wolves already formed with a dominant alpha, Fenrir would never allow them to join him as long as that alpha remained alpha.

But, even if he wanted to kill him for roaming his territory, Fenrir knew perfectly well that the enemy alpha is as strong as him or even a little stronger than him. But as if that wasn't enough, the other alpha's pack is twice as big as his and certainly has wolves as big and strong as Ankor.

But even though Fenrir knows that the best thing to do is to get stronger and attack with superior strength, he was never one to run away from danger when it haunts his home.

So after a reconnaissance mission by Anouk, Fenrir took the most common option in these cases.

An Alpha fight.

Whoever wins, gets everything.

"Ugh!"

Quickly turning his gaze to the fight next to him, Fenrir frowned slightly at the sight of Rika embedded in a tree in the distance while Kiriko luckily dodges a blow that nearly took her head off.

"Kiriko, we need to hold on for a few more seconds!" Looking sideways at the icicle that Rei formed, Saya gritted her teeth and screamed, hitting the rabbit with all her might with the tree trunk.

"I know!" With her face completely sweaty and her clothes stained in blood, Kiriko quickly dodged another blow from the rabbit and jumped back to the back, causing the rabbit to squeal and start trying to pull her off.

With a pale complexion and a sweaty face, Shizuka bit her lips hard as she continued to give speed to the girls, giving every last effort to maintain her skill.

'Fucking bastard!' Shouting inside her mind as she felt the lack of strength in her body, Kiriko took a sharp breath and used what little vigor she had left to dodge the last attack. But even though she succeeded she knows perfectly well that her body is completely tired and the next one will undoubtedly be an accurate hit.

In a way the rabbit is extremely strange, because unlike common rabbits, this one lifts its big fat body on its hind legs, while its long front legs reach every part of its back without any problem and with great speed.

If it weren't for the speed buff Shizuka gives, they would no doubt have been knocked down long ago.

Looking sideways at Rei who still hasn't finished forming the icicle, Kiriko took a shaky breath and looked up at the other blow coming at him,

'Damn hare!' Gritting her teeth as she felt a blow to her side, Kiriko is propelled hard by a devastating blow, only to crash into a tree and get deeply embedded inside.

'It's over' Looking towards Kiriko, Saya gritted her teeth and looked at the rabbit now focusing on her, then quickly thinking and without wasting any more time, jumping to the side.

*Boom*

Quickly dodging a blow that even cracked the ground, Saya stepped between the rabbit's legs and in one swift leap she launched herself at the rabbit's back, then using the only means she could think of to distract the beast.

Grasping the animal's coat tightly, Saya used all her strength and pulled out a large clump of the rabbit's fur, causing the animal to squeal in pain.

"*Squeak!*" Flailing wildly, the rabbit suddenly jumped up and dropped with its back to the ground, causing Saya to look completely shocked and stunned at the impending impact.

But when she was only seconds away from being crushed, a crimson silhouette rushed at the rabbit and with great force, threw it into the trees.

Instantly letting go, Saya fell heavily to the ground and looked quickly in the direction of the fight, watching in surprise as a 20-meter dragon curled around the rabbit with its tail and bit its neck in obvious anger.

"*SQUEAK!!!*" With a bestial scream, the rabbit grabbed the dragon's tail and with surprising strength that even made its arms grow, forced it to release its neck and in the process threw it into the distance.

"*ROAR!!!*" With a loud roar, the dragon rose again and lunged at the rabbit, causing the impact between the two to crack the earth on the ground and even the gusts of wind to shake the large trees hard.

Raising its two thick arms, the dragon struggled with the rabbit and gritting its teeth, threw it towards the starting place.

"Yuuki, now!" seeing the opportunity and noticing that Rei has the ice pick ready, Saya shouted.

Swallowing saliva, Yuuki put her fear aside and quickly ran towards the rabbit rising from the ground, then standing in front of it and taking a deep breath, smiled and winked at it.

Instantly, the rabbit's furious eyes clouded over as his pupil strangely deformed into a heart shape, while Yuuki staggered with a sudden pallor on his face as his consciousness instantly faded.

"Rei!"

"Y-yes!" Gritting her teeth while her face is covered in sweat, Rei awkwardly lowered both her arms and the icicle came out swiftly propelled towards the rabbit's back.

But although the speed was considerable, unfortunately the shape of the icicle and its tip were not hard enough to embed deeply, causing nothing more than a flesh wound as the ice prepared for its fall.

"N-no!" Feeling the despair at knowing that the plans went wrong, Saya involuntarily screamed, but just as she saw all was lost, Saeko sprang forward and with a nimble movement, kicked the ice pick hard.

"*SQUEAAKK!!!*"

This time the icicle was driven deep into the back of the pitiful rabbit. Blood splattered everywhere, while the dragon without wasting any time, leapt towards the animal and clung tightly on its neck.

Shaking its head as its claws tore at its prey as much as possible, the dragon focused its predatory gaze on the animal and refused to let go.

Without wasting any time, Saeko ran to the side and reached the animal's hind legs, then moved her hands forcefully and steadily tore at the animal's thighs with her sharp claws.

Watching the bloody scene where beautiful women were tearing a giant rabbit alive, Fenrir smiled showing his sharp teeth and nodded with satisfaction as he felt the rabbit stop struggling little by little, then turned his gaze to Rika and grunted softly as he felt it was still breathing.

"Good hunting."
