The Adeventures of DeadPool (and Young Justice)

Project Mercenary was the Light's ultimate attempt at creating their own personal assassin that would match Deathstroke. However, what they failed to realize is that just because he is a clone, does not make him an exact copy. I don't own the first three chapters or this universe...the author has dropped it since 2017...I just want to publish it and try to make it shine... if i failed i hope brilliant authors continue the idea and spread this deapool mind!

The sun was just beginning to dip, casting an eerie glow over the outpost Wade had, uh, "redecorated." Kyrati bodies were sprawled across the place in artistic chaos. Smoke drifted from the smoldering ruins, and a few fires burned steadily in the background. Wade was just finishing up—dusting himself off, adjusting his gear, and stepping over the last few corpses, whistling a jaunty tune.

Vaas was standing there, taking it all in, and a slow grin spread across his face. He let out a low, impressed whistle before addressing Wade.

"Now this... this is why I'm paying you a lot, hermano!" he said, laughing in that dark, unsettling way of his. "You don't just kill 'em; you make it a work of art!"

Vaas leaned forward, his grin vanishing as he spoke. "There's a village in the south. They're loyal to my sister, Citra, and they're holding out, trying to take what's mine. I want you to burn it to the ground."

"Sounds simple enough. So, who's this Jason guy I keep hearing about? Seems like he's got a few screws loose."

Vaas's eyes flashed with anger and a touch of something close to resentment. "Jason's Citra's little puppet, her golden boy. The idiot thinks he's on some holy mission. She's filled his head with visions and legends, made him think he's a hero. But he's just another pawn. I'll handle him myself soon enough."

Wade chuckled, raising an eyebrow. "Sounds like you've got this guy wrapped around your finger. But hey, let me know if you need any help convincing him otherwise." He stood, rolling his shoulders. "All right, guess I'll go knock that village off your map."

Vaas nodded approvingly. "And don't hold back, Wade. This is about showing them what happens when they side with her." His tone darkened, and his grin returned with a dangerous glint. "No mercy."

Wade wasted no time, marching his way to the southern village. With daylight flooding the area, he saw the small huts and a few scattered warriors. They muttered to each other in a language he couldn't understand, but their looks were all he needed—eyes wide with fear as they saw him striding toward them, armed to the teeth.

"Monstruo!" one of the warriors yelled, backing up with his spear. Wade caught the tone but misinterpreted, grinning.

"nah, it is clear what you said....even for me!" he said, pulling out his grenade launcher.

After finishing the mission, Wade strolled back through the jungle toward Vaas's camp, feeling oddly fulfilled by the carnage. However, as he approached, he noticed the place was eerily silent, the usual chaos replaced with a deathly stillness.

Wade slowed his pace, eyes narrowing as he took in the sight. Bodies lay scattered, blood pooling in the dirt, the ground covered with remnants of a violent struggle. His boots crunched on the dried leaves as he moved through the devastation.

(Oh no!)

"Aww man, did I miss the party?" he muttered.

He heard a faint sound—someone groaning in pain. Wade followed the noise to a barely conscious warrior lying among the dead. The man coughed, clutching a wound on his side, barely able to keep his eyes open.

"Hey, man, where's Vaas? This whole 'murder chic' isn't exactly his thing, ya know?"

The man's eyes rolled back slightly, his voice barely a whisper. "He… inside… some guy… with a knife…"

"Right, right, cryptic as usual. Thanks anyway~" Wade mumbled, standing and making his way inside, a carefree bounce in his step.

As he stepped into the main room, he opened his mouth to boast. "Yo, Vaas! You won't believe how I wrecked that place! Mission complete, baby!"

But the words died in his throat.

Inside, Wade found Vaas on his knees, gasping for breath. Blood soaked his shirt, a gaping wound in his stomach where a knife was buried to the hilt. Behind him stood Jason, eyes alight with a deranged smile, his hands gripping the knife as he twisted it deeper into Vaas's body.

"Ah, look what the cat dragged in!" Jason sneered, his face a mask of insane glee. His eyes flicked to Wade, and the smile widened. "You must be Vaas's newest lackey. Well, let me show you how the mighty fall."

Vaas tried to laugh, but it came out as a strangled cough, blood dripping from his lips. "Amigo… you're late to the show."

(How the fuck with all these butterflies canon happened!)

Jason yanked the knife out, sending Vaas collapsing forward, clutching his stomach as blood pooled beneath him. Jason raised the blade, readying himself for another strike, but Wade's voice cut through.

"Hey, champ, you know it's bad manners to kill someone's boss without a formal introduction." Wade cracked his knuckles, his lips curling into a twisted grin. "And I gotta say, I'm pretty attached to the guy. He's paying me."

Jason sneered, raising the knife to point at Wade. "You're nothing but a hired thug. Just another piece of trash in Vaas's world."

"Oh, you hurt me!" Wade laughed, darting forward to throw the first punch.

Jason sidestepped, swinging his knife in a quick arc. Wade ducked, feeling the blade graze his shoulder, but he only grinned, firing a pistol at Jason's feet. Jason leaped back, then charged again, this time with almost supernatural speed.

Wade dodged the strikes, watching as Jason displayed moves no normal person should have—the kind of almost game-like abilities that seemed more supernatural than human. It made Wade laugh even harder, goading Jason on as he taunted with each missed strike.

"Wow, are you in some weird cheat mode? That's gotta be embarrassing for you," Wade teased,

Jason grinned, his confidence radiating as he lunged again, wielding the knife like a dance partner. "You'll have to do better than that, clown!"

Wade didn't bother with a witty comeback; instead, he rolled to the side as Jason struck again, feeling the rush of adrenaline course through him. He was in his element, and nothing was going to take him down. He glanced at Jason, who was already reaching for a small pouch on his hip, pulling out a handful of syringes filled with glowing liquid.

"Med time!" Jason shouted, jabbing one of the syringes into his thigh. He winced, but a moment later, his wounds began to heal at an accelerated pace, energy surging through him. "Let's see you keep up with that!"

Wade couldn't help but laugh. "You've got a personal pharmacy! What's next? A magic crystal bag?"

Jason lunged at Wade with a fervor fueled by madness, brandishing his knife with a flourish. Wade, however, was already dodging as if it were the most natural thing in the world. Jason's blade sliced through the air, missing Wade entirely.

"Wow, that was a real close one! You almost got me!" Wade called out, grinning widely as he spun around, taking aim at Jason's feet. A shot rang out, sending Jason jumping backward, and Wade couldn't help but laugh. "Jumping like a little bunny! Cute!"

As Jason landed, he quickly pulled out another syringe and jabbed it into his arm. "You think you can keep up with me?" he shouted, his movements becoming unnaturally swift. He charged at Wade with almost supernatural speed, but Wade merely leaned back, letting Jason rush past him.

"Nice try!" Wade said, a playful smirk plastered on his face. "But you'll have to do better than that!"

Jason attempted to regroup, throwing punches with wild abandon. Each strike was met with Wade's graceful dodges, as if he were dancing to a tune only he could hear. With every swing, Wade toyed with him, darting around and popping out little quips.

"C'mon, Jay! Did you not learn anything from the last time I schooled you?" Wade said, spinning on his heel and landing a casual punch to Jason's jaw. The impact sent Jason reeling, but he quickly recovered, his eyes wild with determination.

Wade raised an eyebrow. "You really think you can win? How adorable!" He turned, kicking off the wall to gain momentum, then barreling towards Jason. In one fluid motion, he grabbed Jason's wrist mid-swing, twisting it behind his back.

With a swift motion, he pulled Jason closer and whispered in his ear, "Don't be afraid... I will be gentle~"

Wade delivered a knee to Jason's gut, forcing him to gasp. "Oops! Did I break something? Let me fix that!" He launched Jason across the room, watching with amusement as the young man tumbled head over heels.

Jason barely landed on his feet before Wade was on him again, throwing a flurry of punches that landed with sickening thuds. Each hit seemed to knock the fight out of Jason, yet he kept getting back up, fueled by desperation.

"Is this all you got?" Wade taunted, his tone light and mocking. "I was expecting a real challenge! Maybe we should change the stakes. How about if you lose, you give me all your syringes?"

"I'll never lose to you!" Jason shouted, throwing another wild punch that Wade easily dodged.

"Cute! But you don't seem to understand what game we're playing here." Wade lunged forward, pinning Jason against the wall, and smirked. "Spoiler alert: I win."

In one swift movement, Wade yanked Jason's knife from his grip and twisted it away from him. a grin plastered across his face. "I'd say it's game over for you, buddy."

Jason's eyes widened in fear, and his ego crumbled away. "Wait, no! You don't have to do this!"

"Oh, sweetie, you should've thought about that before deciding to mess with me. But since you're so cute and all, I'll make you a deal." Wade lowered the his hands just enough to give Jason a glimmer of hope. "You get to walk away if you can tell me a good joke~"

Jason gulped, desperation mixing with confusion. "Wha—what?! You....you sick fuck!!"

"Too bad~" Wade said, summoning his power. He lunged, grabbing Jason's head and channeling his life force.

"Now, let's see what you're made of!" Wade exclaimed, feeling the rush of energy flood through him. Jason convulsed for a moment, panic flashing in his eyes, but it was too late. Wade was in control.

With one final burst of energy, Wade released Jason, who fell to the floor, gasping. "Not so tough now, huh?" Wade taunted, watching as Jason struggled to regain his composure.

"Who knew playing with my food would be this much fun?" Wade laughed, leaning back against the wall, arms crossed.
