Chapter 8 Thank You, Shelton!

After hanging up the phone, Weldon couldn't wait to call his parents and his aunt and uncle to his office.

"Weldon, why are you so happy?"

"Yes, Weldon, have you learned any news?"

"Is it some good news?"

Seeing Weldon happily rocking in his chair, Weldon's parents and his uncle and aunt were curious.

"You all must have heard that Vera has a Golden Card from Citibank, right?" Weldon asked with a smile.

"Yes, she's really something. She even managed to get a Golden Card. I wonder what big shot lent it to her," Weldon's aunt said.

Weldon's father, Gary, said angrily, "Why are you happy? You won't become the president if she saves Nilson Group."

"Dad, don't get me wrong. That's not why I'm happy." Weldon was helpless.

"Then what are you happy about?" His mother, Natalie Nilson, asked.

Weldon grinned. "Because that Golden Card was forged by Shelton."

"What?"

"Forged?"

Everyone was stunned.
