"How did your group go?"
Everette turned towards Jack. He was currently chowing on the contents of a food can that belonged to the Cafeteria.
He shrugged and gave a vague reply, "It was alright. How about yours?"
Jack sat down beside him with a can of his own.
"Not too bad. It was a bit difficult to help them at first, but it ended well."
Everette nodded.
"Oh, by the way, have we decided to focus on getting a group to the soldier stage before going on the next one yet?"
Jack tapped his chin before nodding, "I think I overheard Ada and Amelia talking about it earlier."
Everette gave a brief nod before continuing his dinner.

*2nd day of Levelling*
'It seemed that the bodies attracted some more overnight.'
Everette eyes skimmed over the infected dogs that seemed to have eaten the corpses overnight. There were about 15 of them.
He turned back around to ask if they needed his help before Leyla abruptly dashed past him and struck one of the dogs in the eyes.
After that, it was followed by Jason with a bash to one of the dog's sides. And Liam, who swiftly slashed the neck of a dog.
The rest then caught on and began charging at the pack of dogs.
Everette stood at the back and gazed at them. He could feel a hint of pride swelling up inside him.
After a few minutes, the battle ended in their favour. A few of them were scratched, but it doesn't seem to have any problems.
This battle was able to push them all to the Soldier stage.
"Nice! Let's head back so I can get another group—"
A golden glow radiated from one of the bodies before suddenly disappearing, followed by a glow from the figure standing over the corpse.
Everette's eyes then studied the individual. It was Leyla. She seemed to have chosen her makeshift spear. Her eyes glinted with both excitement and... rage?
Curiosity got the best of Everette because he activated one of his Class's abilities. He focused his attention on Leyla.

{"Name": "Leyla Storm"}
{"Potential": "B+"}
{"Analysis": "A girl that wants nothing more than revenge against the corruption."}
***
'Revenge?'
Her glow from her weapon died down to reveal its new form.
No changes were seen on the rod, but the knife that used to be taped on was now welded onto it.
Everette could see Leyla's eyes dart around. He figured that she was probably reading the ability her weapon gained.
They returned back to the Chapel to change over.
This carried on for a couple of days.

"Ugh!" Everette collapsed on his back.
"What's up with you?" Ada peered over him.
"I wanna level up too." He sat up while Ada simultaneously moved her head out of the way.
Ada nodded in understanding, "Same..."
Everette then turned his head towards Ada with a solemn look.
"How's the situation looking over at the girl's dormitory?"
Ada scratched her head with an irritated look plastered on her face. She seemed to be very annoyed by this matter.
"Not good, but also not bad. We found survivors, but there are quite a couple mutated there."
"A couple!?"
Everette stared at her in shock. His fight with a mutated left a deep scar on him.
'And they're still alive?'
She nodded, "Although they are just wandering outside, they seem to have no intention of going in."
He tucked a finger under his chin in a thoughtful manner. He then looked up before asking how many there were.
"We've counted two."
"two..."
He repeatedly tapped his chin.
"And infected?"
Ada shrugged, "None. I assume the Mutateds ate them all."
Everette nodded before calling over Jack and Amelia.
"What's up, you two?" Jack asked.
"What level are you currently?"
"I've reached Level 11."
"A-and I reached Level 10."
Everette widened his eyes, "You guys are gaining levels?"
They looked at each other before scratching their cheek in an embarrassed manner.
"We... accidentally kill the infected sometimes..." Jack explained, followed by an apologetic nod from Amelia.
Everette facepalmed while Ada laughed at them.
Everette then began explaining the situation of the girl's dorm to them.
Jack gave a solemn look before nodding in understanding.
"This is definitely an issue." He folded his arms.
"W-what do you think we should do?"
Everette scratched the back of his head, "I'm thinking that Ada and I should take care of it." He then turned to Ada for her opinion. She responded with a shrug and a "Sure."
"H-how about you let us take care of it?"
"Hm?" x 2
Everette and Ada stared at her with a raised brow.
"Are you sure?"
Amelia nodded. Jack smiled at this and just accepted he'd be fighting a mutated.
"I guess that is settled then. Even so, We'll come with you two just to be sure."
They both nodded simultaneously with grateful smiles plastered on their face.
"We'd appreciate that."
