Chapter X "Getting Skills"
"wow the cave structure is not like what Rimuru said at all or he was stupid, I don't care anymore what Rimuru did let us focus on my journey, the cave has three two pathways one to go deeper underground and to fight kind of bosses like monsters and the other path is the one that Rimuru went through that has a lot fewer monsters and the exit.... hmmm I want to get more skills so let's go to the monster path"
ten days have passed and that means that this is the 15th day since Reincarnating since then I have fought a couple of monsters they were Black Spider, Armorsaurus, Giant Bat, Evil Centipede, Stone Snake, and Tempest Serpent in that order I am going to talk a little bit about each one of them
first and foremost the black spider looked like a giant spider with its whole body black expect the area which shoots the thread and the head area that was like a bee black and yellow striped it had green eyes honestly that thing would have been scary if not for seeing the dragons
it gave me three skills which are <Sticky Thread> <steel thread> <Poison thread> all of them are common skills but I combined them to form the extra skill <Poisonous Sticky steel thread> it does exactly what you would expect I can make the thread more sticky or Poisonous depending on what I want and I can remove the steel element as well overall a fantastic skill with lots of utility
next the Armorsaurus, man that thing's defense is a menace it does not attack it just spams <earth wall> and <barrier>, so how did I kill him I spammed faster the water blades and the air cutters did good work of him, he body was a dark green that had purple spikes and he had orange eyes the skills he had were <body armor> <Earth wall> <Barrier> man these skills are going to come in handy
next was the Giant bat he was just like his name says a black colored Giant bat but the only difference is that he had no eyes just really large ears, he was very fast he dodged a lot of water blades and air cutters but trap him with <Poisonous Sticky steel thread> and voila he can't dodge a thing he gave me three skills as well <vampirism> <Ultrasonic Waves> <enhanced hearing>
let us talk about them for a bit <vampirism> By sucking the target's blood the user can temporarily use 70% of its Skills, it is not the best skill but I am not going to discard it like Rimuru I will leave it alone for now tho <Ultrasonic Waves>the original Use for it to bewilder the enemy or causing him to faint and to also pinpoint one's location, and I can use it to develop a voice I am going to make it like Christopher judge from the new god of war man I wanted to play the new one but couldn't because of money problems and death, one of the new goals make the god of war game in this new world to play it the last skill from the Giant bat was the <enhanced hearing> it literally just enhances the hearing
Next the Evil Centipede its body was dark red with a dark blue skull in its head and lavender eyes, This bitch is weak as fuck he took a couple of water blades and died, and didn't even use the breath attacks he had which were three <Paralyzing Breath> <Poisonous Breath> <freezing Breath> all of them do the same thing which is an attack that Affects an area of seven meters in front of the user in a 120-degree radius but different element, so I combined all of them to make the extra skill <All Breath> every breath type attack I am going to learn is going to be added to this skill currently it has only the electric, ice, water, and poison type breathes but latter one I can add any type that I reached the stage of manipulation in, was what great sage said so yeah great skill to have
Next was the Stone snake he was not in the tensura novel at all but it was a monster I found his body was stone grey with black eyes he didn't have anything special at all but he did grant me something useful that was the extra skill<earth manipulation> how? well he had three skills which were <earth bullet> < intimidating hiss> <earth arrow> see and I had the skill <Earth wall>from the Armorsaurus so all of them combined to form the extra skill <earth manipulation>, the other skill doesn't do anything to me right now maybe useful down the road
Next was the first monster Rimuru ever fought and that was the Tempest serpent he had a black body with a dark blue underbelly and white eyes he kind of was underwhelming I was kind of excited to fight him and he died after just one water blade so yeah maybe I through it with more force than normal anyways he gave me those three skills <lightning Storm> <sense Heat Source> <Poisonous Fang>, the lightning storm skill is amazing tho if you use it it just throws lightning everywhere around me, but the most useful one was the sense Heat Source it Identifies any heat reactions in the local area and is not affected by any concealing effects
and currently, right in front of me is the father of ranga I think but he was currently a tempest wolf he has a dark purple body with dark yellow eyes like any other tempest wolf how he is here I don't understand I think of him as the father of ranga because he has a scar under his eye it may be a different wolf but I think he is the father of ranga I don't have any other clue who he is other than his scar, no scratch that call it an instinct but I know that he is the father of ranga what is he doing here where is his tribe, did they already attack the goblin village I don't know, but what I know is that he is crazed with magicules and is unable to think I can remove that state from him but I won't I already knew this is AU when I came here so I expected some changes so whatever he was or is HE WILL DIE TO BECOME MY POWER
and he died... on the brighter side of things he gave these skills <Keen Smell> <Thought Communication> <Mence> the keen smell skill enhances the ability to smell nothing special mence does what do you expect makes your voice force itself on those weaker than the user so I can use it on any person weaker than me to scare him and make him do my bidding thought Communication skill allows one to talk to his subordinates no matter the distance except if there is a holy barrier or any magicules interference barriers
