The tale of Storm Dragon (end of prologue chapters)

Storm dragon Veldora, the definition of a missunderstood, lonely, childish, tsundere dragon was lamenting about his past. Hey didn't know exactly how many years have passed after his inprisonment in his own cave. Probably around 300 years. He was lonely and bored. But he knew that he has to wait for at least another hundred years before he could say goodbye to this world again. Well Dora was not counting the years of his inprisonment. He was nearly speculating the time with the amount of magicules he has left. A few times in the past he has thought about controlling his magicule leakage like her older sisters and many other powerful beings he has met. But he knew that if he do that then the inevitable will be delayed. And for a guy whose main problem was loneliness and boredom, living longer seems like a curse. The concept of death is not new for Veldora.

He has died so many times in the past that he has practically lost count.

He has still remembered the first time he died by the hands of his eldest sister, Velzard.

He was just a newly born dragon. And he had a lot of energy. He just wanted to imitate his sister and get a human form. He thought that it would be cool. But instead of helping him, Velzard told her to learn by himself. So he ventured into the forest to find the secret of 'how to turn into a human'. After a lot of trial and error, he met with a group of humans. He thought that if he wanted a human form maybe it would be best to just ask them. Curious, he controlled his aura in order to not harm them. Since humans are very fragile. He approached them. But they ran away in fear. Fraustrated, Veldora decided to follow them to their home. Surely they are must be some brave soul in the human Kingdom who could help him with his problem.

But things escalated quickly and before he knew he was standing in the ruins of a city. After that what happened is very obvious. Instead of listening to his explanation, Velzard decided to educate him. After a lot of beat down, she finally one shot him saying that maybe if he reincarnates then his personality will change.

Every time Velzard had killed him, this was her excuse.

There was a time when he hated her. But after a few death the only feeling Veldora has towards Velzard is that of fear.

Then there is his other elder sister. The only time she has killed him well when he asked exactly how old is she in front of her human companion. It was a one shot kill, without much pain. So Veldora has some hot better opinion on Velgrynd on that regard who loves to torture him before killing him. But still, his opinion of Velgrynd was not far from that of Velzard. Velgrynd might not kill him, but she is an absolute creep when it comes to her human companion Rudra. Not to mention she has that scary aura around her, that keeps Veldora away from her.

So all in all, Veldora was just a missunderstood not so evil Dragon who was currently very lonely and bored.

But his boredom was going to end very soon.

Not only Veldora, but the entire world felt a spike of energy from the jura great forest. It was an unfamiliar energy. Veldanava has pushed this energy to the end of time and space when he first created the cardinal world. So even if he has told many people about this energy none of them have felt it before. The spike of turn null energy was extremely destructive. Compared to something like Stardust the destruction capabilities of turn null was immense. So for a moment, every powerful being in the cardinal world got ready to take action.

But luckily Makima noticed the destruction her aura was causing alone, and she quickly took care of it.

Regardless of that it has already attracted the attention of many powerful being in the cardinal world.

Veldora experienced the phenomena from close quarters. He could feel the raw destructive power coming from a distance from his cave. But the power quickly went under control. Then he felt of familiar presence coming towards him. True Dragons recognise other beings with a true Dragon factor. Although Makima's true Dragon factor which was originally from Velgrynd has completely undergone changes, was still a true Dragon factor in the end. So Veldora immediately recognised that the person coming towards him was atleast someone of his own caliber.

But when after a lot of suspense a naked human girl, came infront of him, he.....blushed.

AN: Sorry for another note in the middle of the chapter but I have decided not to explain it in later. So if you are confused about Makima's power level, then here is the explanation. In the level of skills, she is on par with, post eastern Empire war arc where she has a Manas and a lot of op skills. But in terms of actual existence points, he is way above that Rimuru because of her constant absorption of turn null energy for an indefinite amount of time. And you have to understand that since she has spent a lot I mean really a lot of time in the void, so her existence points are in millions. The exact number will be revealed later in the chapters .

There is one more thing. Unlike Rimuru, she will have a deep understanding of skills and arts, since she has spent a lot of time working on them.

But remember this, unlike Rimuru she has practically zero battle experience. She can be compared to a new born child in terms of battle experience. So she has a lot of room to grow. And finally she is not awakened as a demon lord yet. That means she has yet to reach her full potential.
