Chapter 70 Commissioned

"Hehe... You're so warm." Bell muttered giggling as she pushed her head into my shoulder waking me up with a yawn.

"Just imagine Hestia's reaction when she updates your Falna and sees this from your perspective." I joked and Bell looked up at me from my shoulder with her face twisted in mortified embarrassment.

"Oh, my gods! You can't joke about that Jake!" Bell hissed as she clearly imagined her goddess going through some kind of meltdown but even as she told me to stop giving her terrible thoughts, I could see she found the idea funny as well from how her lips curled up at the corner.

Then for the next couple minutes, we just relaxed together holding one another and enjoying the warmth we shared between us.

"Alright Jake, let's get back to training and fighting in the dungeon," Bell whispered as she kissed my neck before she sat back up on my waist unveiling her slightly toned body and handful-sized breasts as she rolled off of me to grab one of the towels, I kept to head straight to the bathroom attached to my bedroom to shower. "We have a long way to get to level three as you said to save Eina... So, let's get started." Bell said with far too much enthusiasm and motivation for someone who just lost her virginity and woke up.

But hey that's how much care she had for her friend, and I couldn't nor would gainsay her for that. As I knew that motivation would push her growth greatly due to her first cheat skill.

"Ok, Bell I am up." I grimaced as I rolled out of bed to go join my albino lover in the shower and despite her claims that we needed to get going to the dungeon we still spent an extra half an hour longer than necessary in the shower.

Once we got out of the shower and rejoined the rest of the Familia for breakfast, I saw Filvis carefully leading Eina into the dining room where we were all eating breakfast.

"Eina, how are you feeling?" I asked carefully. I was honestly scared she would hate me or something for partly being the reason she was targeted by those insane sisters and if she hated me for such a reason, I knew that would mess with Bell though she would understand I had nothing to do with Eina's state.

But Eina displayed her maturity as she only weakly smiled before speaking. "I am recovering as it were... I obviously cannot go to back to my work with my disability which leaves me rather bored." Eina then folded her hands atop the table as she continued. "Jake, I want you to know I don't blame you for this honestly. The Dis sisters made it their lives goal to kill every half-elf they saw and their kill counts after being active for more than fifty years are in the tens of thousands."

Eina shook her head as she huffed. "I can't blame you for a living catastrophe happening upon me. As it could have just as easily happened in an alley on the streets of Orario." She then smiled as she nodded to me. "Plus, with Filvis here, I have the help I need to survive in relative comfort as she helped get me a bunch of books with Braille as well as teach me so I can last until you get that potion to fix my eyes, Jake... So, relax Bell, I don't hate your little boyfriend or anything." Eina finished with a mocking tone as Bell blushed.

Then came the terrible demon queen as it were. Hestia staggered into the room obviously just awakening from her sleep but as she saw Bell walking from the kitchen with another platter of eggs, she eyed Bell like she was going to fall apart or something.

"So anyway, Bell and I have a good system for dealing with the monsters past the eighteenth floor so I say we go down to the jungle floors and I summon a new boss that will help us get stronger... Also, the boss is a seven-something-meter tall bee that's super-fast and spawns other large bees around it." I added dryly and Bell deadpanned.

"I hate bees... I always hated them, what does this boss even drop anyway?" Bell asked and I had to order my thoughts as I began explaining the bee-themed weapons, armor, magic tools, and other stuff.

"Well, that and we need to kill all the other bosses all over again. When I got my new Fargo mod, they will now drop a bunch of new drops that are extremely useful and valuable." I spoke as I wore a wry grin as I realized with the Fargo's mod that the bosses were going to be much stronger and with their new drops, I came to the realization that I wouldn't be doing those boss events without trying to disable the mod somehow as I didn't want people, I had no influence over getting those bullshit accessories.

Filvis raised a hand up gathering my attention. "Jake I would like to come into the dungeon with you two. I am well into level four." As she spoke Seshat snorted at the level four bit, but Filvis only had an eyebrow twitch as she continued to speak. "I would like to earn my keep beyond merely watching over the homestead despite appreciating that you trusted me for that job... Plus, I myself am curious as to the hype surrounding the weapons and gear you make."

Welp looks like I got a good pre-hard mode boss rush coming today with someone I need to fit with some armor and a sword to help her channel her magic. "Very well. Let's get going then." I said standing up from the breakfast table along with Bell and Filvis.
