Chapter 35.3 : Actions

As she saw the scene that was currently happening in front of her, Emily's pupils couldn't help but slightly dilate.

Of course, what scared Emily was not Morgana's combat strength, instead, it was the poison that the latter was currently using.

'Too scary...' thought Emily as she watched the purple haired woman move around the group of soldiers, grazing them with her nails only for them to fall to the ground, rapidly loosing their lives only a few moments later.

...

Although she was rapidly butchering them, at this moment, Morgana's attention wasn't actually placed on the group of soldiers surrounding her, instead, her attention was fully on the surroundings.

'Poef would not be stupid enough to send just this much against me?' thought Morgana, clearly aware of the personality of the general, as well as just as careful he could be sometimes.

Unbeknownst to Morgana though, the rest of the people sent by Poef currently stood in a nearby building, sweat falling down their foreheads as they looked at the person who had just entered the room.

...

As she took a look at the huge amounts of explosives present in the room she had just entered, Diana couldn't help but slightly narrow her eyes, causing her to turn her attention onto the group of 6 men in front of her.

"It seems as though you are the ones trying to hunt down my new crewmate..." mumbled Diana as she suddenly bent downwards, dodging a sword slash that had come right at her.

A moment later, the course of the swordsman who had just attacked her suddenly moved, causing his sword to suddenly slash downwards towards Diana, with no regard for its owner's live.

Then, under the utterly horrified eyes of the 5 other men, their comrade's strongest attack landed onto the pirate in front of her, and slightly pierced her skin before becoming stuck.

Before the swordsman could do anything else, Diana's leg suddenly moved completely against common sense, rising above her head and smashing right into his head.

Only a fraction of a moment later, the entire head and upper body of the swordsman was suddenly smashed to pieces, causing a mess of blood and flesh to pour over Diana, painting nearly the entirety of her body red.

...

As he looked at the city in front of him, General Poef, who was currently standing on top of a hill next to Luh City, the capital city of the Trun Kingdom, couldn't help but become grit his teeth.

"It's already been around 2 minutes since the initial explosion, the six of them should've already detonated the next one, don't tell me something happened to them..." mumbled Poef, as he continued looking at the city, waiting for any signs of action.

After around 5 minutes, when it became fully clear that his six subordinates had failed their mission, General Poef couldn't help but let out a faint sigh.

"Ganz, prepare, we need to leave..." mumbled Poef, calling for his guard.

As a few seconds passed, and Ganz, did not respond in the slightest, Poef couldn't help but become slightly angry, causing him to turn his head and stare behind him, causing his pupils to dilate as he stared at the bodies of his guards, who were lying there torn to shreds on the ground.

In the middle of all the carnage stood a single thin and not too tall woman, who looked as though she weighed at most around 50 kilograms.

"Who are you?!" asked Poef as he tried to raise his hand and point at the woman, only to realize that he could not move his body.

But even so, Poef still struggled, causing the nearly invisible threads that had been nicely wrapped around his body to suddenly tighten, as if reacting to his actions.

...

As she looked at the general in front of her, who had unfortunately been captured by her threads, causing his ability to resist to decrease infinitely, Tsurumi couldn't help let out a faint sigh.

"Do you have any last words that you want me to pass on to anybody?" asked Tsurumi as a faint smile slowly began creeping onto her face.

"Fuck you bi-"

Midway through the sentence he was about to say, the threads around the general suddenly tightened instantly, and dug deep into his flesh, cutting it up into small chucks.

Even in the face of the general's bones, Tsurumi's most precious threads did not struggle in the slightest, allowing Tsurumi to successfully dice the general into small bits, suitable for cooking.

A moment later, Tsurumi regretfully shook her head and walked away from the scene, leaving the bodies of the slaughtered men behind.

...

As she looked at the soldier in front of her, who had no idea who should've been the ones to come to their aids, Morgana couldn't help but fall into thought.

"Poef at least knows that I'm not weak, he shouldn't have sent just these minions against me..." mumbled Morgana as she suddenly raised her head and stared into the distance, where a spotless Diana was jumping out a window, causing her to faintly smile.

"It seems as though I owe the captain some thanks..." mumbled Morgana, as she touched her chin and waited for Diana to arrive next to her.

Upon hearing that, Diana, who was quickly moving towards her new crew member couldn't help but faintly smile.

"You don't have to thank me, I was merely somewhat fortunate to encounter these guys by accident, If that hadn't been the case I wouldn't have done anything to help you," said Diana as she looked at the new Doctor of her crew, causing Morgana to faintly freeze.

Cough cough

"That's fine, It's not the thought that counts, it's the actions," said Morgana she stretched out her fingers and began cleaning up her nails, which had been stained with blood.

Upon hearing this weird thought process, a question mark appeared above the head of Emily, who was standing next to them.
