C 8. Kingdoms

Adam knew that there was someone that followed him to the forest, but he did not mind or show he knew.

Until the little girl decided to show herself. "Your Excellency, you are no fun. I have been waiting for you to finish, but you ignored me."

A young dark girl came out from behind a giant tree, floating toward him in her bubble. 

Adam stood closed to the ground busy looking at a small earthworm. He felt some pressure from the worm when he was in the vicinity, but the pressure disappeared like an illusion.

"Good afternoon." The girl said.

"Good afternoon." He replied.

'So much for ethics.' The girl thought. She has been following without disturbing him because she thought if he finished she would then speak to him.

But it looks like he has no intention of entertaining her. Nevertheless, she still patiently waits for him.

It did not take long before he turned his attention to her. "What is it that you want?"

"Help me in my conjuration. I want to make something, but I was denied the relevant guidance."

"There might be a reason for that. The guardians know much more than us, so listening to them is advisable."

"You don't understand. There is no particular reason for that, it was just because they said I'm underage." She chimed before she used her mouth and mimicked a dignified voice, "It's better to focus on your bloodline essence than anything else."

"But what I want is to grow my strength, all three sides together."

"Listen to them. That will be better." He said before he sped up his bubble leaving the area. 

She still followed him shouting. "I have finished all my research on Samsarian Cicadas. I only want some tiny bit of push." 

Adam comes to an abrupt halt. He was interested, "That is so bold of you! It's better to change it, or it will disturb your overall growth!"

Even though she was delighted that she got his attention, she still knew she had to show him a reason to help her.

"Listen, look at my Psyche rating." She brought out a clay tablet, the size of her palm. On the tablet is the insignia of the girl's family. 

The tablet glows and then a projection of the girl appears. Besides the projection words were written in their language.

"It's a good one. You are the highest?"

"Hehe, No, there are others like me."

"What is it you wanted?"

"Samsarian Cicada…."

The bubbles speed up. Even Adam that was in the forest lost the little control he had.

They shot toward something that was known as the tallest mountain in the known world, the Door Mountain.

The mountain was said to reach up to a hundred kilometres in the sky, but that was not what made it memorable. The mountain contains the gate that will lead to the underworld Maze.

Some believe that Door Mountain is not natural but artificially made by the ancient civilization as an entrance.

The whole group of thousands of people bubbles accelerated toward the mountain, they can't even see the peak. 

Adam saw some flashing from the forest. He squatted his eyes, and then he saw other people being taken from the ground.

'Native of the Great Forest. They are the people that live near the mountain foot. Looked like they were segregated into tribes just like in our continent.'

Adam was not the only one that realized that the native of the continent were joining them.

As of now, their number has multiplied twofold because of the natives that joined them.

They moved close to the mountain until it was about some kilometres away when they shot up in the sky.

They were already high above the clouds, but now they are moving higher and higher. Still, none felt dizzy.

In no time they reached the peak of the mountain. Their vision was limited, but they were able to grasp that if they were allowed they might see the outside world. That is beyond the last layer of the atmosphere.

Two people were standing at the peak, an old man and a woman. They then shot pass the two. Toward a giant crater at the top of the mountain.

They easily passed through as it became dark the more they went deep. 

They have flown upward to reach the peak of the mountain, now they are flying down to reach the root of the mountain.

After they reached a certain depth, sunlight was not reaching properly. It was then they met with stones the size of houses. 

The stones are blindly glowing. "The stones are absorbing the sunlight and then emitting it toward the depth of the mountain pass.

"This light will blind anyone if looked at with naked eyes. This bubble protects us from their intensity." Adam said.

"Wow, they are the Gemrays, right?" Ladi Zar was asked.

"Yes, they are. I think they carry the same radiation as the sun.'' The deeper they go, the more they can see fine without a hindrance.

It was like they were going to an entirely new world. 

With the additional native, there are about 900 hundred thousand people. But if all of them were going to be arranged in a linear line they can not touch side to side of the path they are passing through.

More trees. No, they see an entire kingdom by the time they reach the bottom or the supposed bottom.

People congregated jumping and singing when they saw them. They have their own culture and ethics. On the highest pyramid in the kingdom, their King was standing covered with tattoos.

He was the one leading their cultural song. By the time they reached there a cacophony of the same words was heard.

Sama jannati was heard over and over again. The bubbles translate to them what the word means. "Surface Dwellers''

It is like saying, "We welcome you, Oh you Surface Dwellers."

"It was said that it is not easy for the Maze denizens to go to the surface, why is that?" Ladi asked Adam.

"Because of the sun!"

"The sun? How…" She was cut off when so many of the kingdom's children began to fly and join them!

They, too, were encased in the bubble.
