The Beginning

The white color was blinding until his eye readjusted themselves to witness a black portal opening approximately 6 meters away from him. From the portal black smoke started pouring out with a floating black blurred figure that started speaking immediately after opening its eyes and noticing Satoru.

"Well it seems you are finally here" a creepy-sounding voice resounded throughout the white room.

At this moment Satoru wanted to ask where he was or what is he doing here but the being in front of him was faster and started speaking again.

"It seems you have many questions but let me explain things to you if you still have some things to ask you can go ahead and do so after I finish the explanation" the being spoke with a hint of amusement in his voice.

"To start with you can refer to me as Black for there is no need for you to know my name you wouldn't be able to say it anyway. And you are here because your world was purged by an alien species and every mortal on your planet died from the so-called purge, oh and don't worry everyone died peacefully in their sleep just like you. And well I for one could see the potential you have as a friend, but I can't just bring you in from nowhere and make you a god and stuff the ROBs and other Gods will be mad at me" Black explained to Satoru.

"But who do you think I am, I am Black the most amazing of them all so I decided to help you achieve that power so we can be best buds what do you think a great deal so will you become this great ones friend?!" Black exclaimed excitedly.

"So you're saying that you were lonely and wanted a friend sure I accept not like I have anything to lose" Satoru was surprised at first but after thinking this is not bad at all, being friends with super powerful but creepy being, not sus at all.

"I….I...I w..w..was not lonely, I like being alone and, others are just pricks!!" Black tried to explain itself.

"Alright, so we are friends now so what's next and how is this all going to work?"

"Oh well you see I can only do certain things for you what I mean is I am going to give you everything I can how does that sound"

"Well good I guess so what am I getting if it's not a secret?"

"Well you will have to be reincarnated but the thing is you can't choose the world or your race, and that's because of who I am but don't worry about that, because you will get the Multiversal task system well simply you will have to do things in different worlds to get stronger and get rewards, but that's not all you will get a status screen a shop function and inventory too!!" Black reveals excitedly.

Satoru stares at Black and sighs. "Well it's better than nothing at least I can still get stronger with physical activities and maybe I can get something good from the task rewards too"

"Oh don't worry too much you will have loads of skills and that's because of the race you will be getting and that's going to be my surprise for you because this race is going to be amazing!" Black exclaimed.

Satoru was intrigued and wanted to know more bet he decides against asking again because he was excited to travel to new worlds and be reincarnated like those protagonists from the isekai novels or fanfics he has read before.

"So when do we start the reincarnation process?" Satoru asked impatiently.

"Hahaha, you seem very eager to begin your journey to greatness, but don't forget to make a family or a harem if you want you will be able to do many things when you reach my level and one last thing, before I send you one your way remember, to enjoy your new life because your journey will be long and you may or may not have hardships but remember to never hesitate and if you decide to do something, do it make your dreams come true!"

As Satoru woke up in a dark space with a holographic image of him and his status he got excited and heard a robotic voice in his head.

[Body creation complete traveling portal will open in 30 minutes]

Satoru understood that it was one of the system functions so he knew he has some time to familiarize himself with his new body and status.

Satoru looked at the hologram of his new body and he was surprised at how good he looked, he had Crimson hair that reaches down to the middle of his back, his eye color was blackish-red he was lean and muscular standing at 195cm(6'5") tall in his human form. And for his demon form, he looked the same only a bit taller and had blackish-red bat-like wings sprouting from his back, a blackish-red leathery tale with a sharp arrow tip at the end, Big curved blackish-red horns.
