The Survey

Kain and Esmeralda walked back to the camp, where their tents where in time to see McCormick walk out of his tent.

"Good morning" He yawned stretching out his limbs.

"Good morning to you too" Kain replied and walked back into his tent.

"Looks like you've been up for quite a while?" McCormick said looking at Esmeralda who was walking towards her tent.

"Yeah, went for an early morning stroll" Esmeralda said in reply.

"Hmm, I see. So, did Kain go with you?" 

"Yeah, kind of. I was about to leave and he joined in" Esmeralda explained.

"Okay, but is there anything going on between you two?" 

What? No, nothing is going on between my boss and I. why would you say that?" she sputtered in disgust.

"Oh, sorry just curious" McCormick apologized.

"Well, keep your curiosity to yourself. It is superficially annoying" Esmeralda said and made to enter her tent.

"Wait, can I ask you one more question?" McCormick asked
