Some Alone Time

"What are you doing here without any one to protect you?" Kain asked standing up from where he was seating.

"I should be the person asking that question and why did you follow me?" Esmeralda asked as she walked out of the creek.

"Well, I had the feeling that you had left camp and would be in danger. So I thought I had to come after you." Kain said and handed over her clothes. She grabbed the clothes from him and began to wear them after drying up with a small towel that she had carried with her.

"Didn't know that you cared considering the fact that you were the very same person who had asked me to get out" she said without looking at him.

"Well I told you to get out of the tent and not the camp." Kain said watching her getting all dressed up while being completely oblivious of him.

"Well, maybe you could have made your statement much clearer and precise" she said and sat down on her boulder. Kain sat down beside her but she edged away.
