Ember was busy letting her clones scan the world, so she couldn't spare energy to teleport us. As such, I decided to do it myself. Together with everyone, I moved across space and landed at a place about 50,000 kilometers away from our initial location.
It was far from where we landed, but despite that, it was literally the closest metropolis to us. To be fair, Ember's clones haven't even reached this far yet.
"This is supposed to be where the metropolis was."
I muttered while sending a "small sun" high into the air.
When the light cleared the darkness of the surroundings, old ruins entered our view.
It was half-destroyed, but mainly due to the long passage of time. There were no signs of damage due to wars or anything. A peaceful city at a glance.
"Is this really a city?"
But Tala quickly noticed what I, too, felt was strange.
