Chapter 28  You Have the Rights

Edmund had left when Adeline woke up the next day. 

Lying on bed for a while, Adeline then got up and went out for grocery shopping.

She saw Penney standing by the door as soon as she went outside. Stunned for a moment, Adeline directly turned around and ignored her.

Penney chased after her unexpectedly.

"Adeline, I want to talk to you."

Her attitude was much nicer than before. Adeline raised her eyebrows. "I think the Hill's had already told you my decision, so I have nothing to talk to you!" 

Hearing this, Penney felt a bit scared.

She was just a countryside woman, who thought her son was so powerful that could have her back. But she didn't expect that Edmund was way much than Fred.

She was unable to be arrogant anymore when she thought of her son being tortured in jail.

"I know. I'm not here to make a trouble. I'm here to tell you that you can get a divorce with Fred. Please tell Edmund and let him release my son!"

"You're willing to let us divorce?"
