Tales of the Alchemist: I Can Steal Alchemies Who I Killed

Alchemy is the ancient power that allows people with talismans to create and control things. Only lucky people can have talismans. Only the more fortunate can use them. Or, the cursed. When Xavier was a high school student, he unexpectedly saw the talismans appear on his palms in the middle of the day and knew at that moment that his life had changed drastically. Nothing would ever be the same, and little did Xavier know that he was someone very special. How would his own curse affect the fate of the world?

The Moon

It was an ordinary day at one of the Moon Cult bases. Ordinary people, unaware that this was a base, were in the tavern inside the base, chatting in a slightly abusive manner, singing songs, and attending to the women on duty. Inside the tavern, the only sounds were those of instruments and the sounds of some men singing, some men having a heated conversation, and some men attending to the women. It was a chaotic noise, a cozy and warm environment for the men, but a very uncomfortable environment for the women in charge. Since the door of the tavern was closed and soundproofed, the noise did not go outside and the staff did not feel any discomfort.

At one table a woman was hanging out alone, uninterested in the atmosphere, choosing to stay out of people's eyes. With squinted eyes and a dull expression, she sipped her beer and kept her eyes on the surface of the table. But despite her beauty, the fact that she was alone attracted the attention of some people, and a group of 4 friends flocked to her table. One of them sat with his beer to the left of her beer, while three others sat directly opposite her. The biggest one, the snobbiest of them all, was on her left side, while the others seemed to be there to support her.

"What makes you think so much, beautiful?"

"Go away."

Her sudden outburst amused the others, who clinked their beers together in laughter, while the man who had been dealing with her smiled and put his right arm around her right shoulder, wrapping it around her and moving closer to her cheek. She could tell by the smell that he had been drinking for a long time.

"Don't be so stubborn. Come with me, let's have a good time."

The woman must have been uncomfortable with this contact because she finally took her eyes off the table and locked eyes with him.

"I'd rather die than sleep with you."

With this statement, the woman stood up with her beer and moved to leave the table, but was prevented by the man's grip on her wrist and heard an angry voice.

"Who the fuck do you think you are talking to?"

Because of his large size, he was putting considerable pressure on her wrist, causing her to bite her lower lip to keep quiet. She triggered her Electric Alchemy, hitting him with a high voltage, causing him to collapse and convulse on the ground. The others decided to take care of the dandy on the floor instead of taking care of him, and the woman finally left the tavern in peace. When the woman left the tavern, she met a man who was in a hurry, with his eyes on nothing but his goal.

The reason that made this day unique was a simple envelope: one of the guards guarding the exterior of the place walked past, entered the base, and hurried towards the room of the person in charge of the base. When he reached the door, he clenched his right hand into a fist, knocked once, pushed the door open with permission, and stepped inside. He was confronted by a woman on a sumptuous armchair behind the wall on the north side. She moved to the center of the room, clasped the envelope in her right hand and her left hand in front of her stomach, tilted her head, and swallowed once.

"Found."

A smile formed on her face, she didn't even check the envelope because she trusted the person in front of her, she got up from where she was standing and walked out of the room with the man.

Tick... tick... tick... tick... tick...

The sound of the clock dominated the room. It was a large but deserted room. Only a dim light fell on the golden yellow circle table in the center of the room. The table had no pattern, it was a simple table. A man put his right hand close to the table and placed the envelope in his palm on the table, the light shining on the table showed that his hand had brown skin. After he put the envelope down, this hand disappeared back into the darkness. A delicate hand with black nail polish on its slightly long nails reached for the envelope, it looked like a woman's hand. With her slender fingers, she tore the envelope without paying much attention to it, grasped the photograph embedded inside with her thumb and forefinger, and held it towards her so that it was on the table.

"Xavier Arxtem. 18 years old. Are you sure this is him?" she said. Her voice was thin and warm, comforting.

The answer to her question came from the side of the hand that disappeared into the darkness, from its owner.

"There is no doubt. He is the heir." His voice was thick and firm.

Silence filled the room for a while, no one said a word until another man came out. At first, the sound of footsteps echoed around the room and the people in the room realized that the footsteps were coming from behind the woman. As he approached the table, his face became visible, but the woman in front of him paid no attention to him. He was a man in his thirties, with orange around his white eyes, red braided hair, white skin, and smooth features. Had a simple smile on his face, and it was because he did not take the heiress seriously.

"Heir? This one? Don't make me laugh. This child can't be the heir. What evidence do you have?"

The same thick, stern voice interjected, but this time there was a hint of sarcasm in the tone. "He can steal talismans."

The smile on the red-haired man's face disappeared, his face dull with surprise. With nothing more to say, he retreated into the darkness as another male voice joined the conversation.

It had a deeper tone.

"Then we know what we must do as the Order of the Moon."

This man pulled his chair forward and approached the table, his body easily visible as the light hit him. He had short blond hair with a bowl cut. His face was expressionless and calm. It was easy to see that an electric current was flowing rapidly through his body.

"We destroy the heir wherever we find him."
