Meeting of the original powers

The four had decided to meet and three of them had already gathered, waiting for the fourth one to come. The four have decided to meet one another from time to time, chatting about what they have done, what they will do, what their opinions were and more.

One of the three decided to start talking.

- Long time no see my brothers Hex and Nol!

Hex: Greetings to you too brother Mot. Do you have any idea where Ley is? Scratch that, I already feel her presence coming this way. She is still pretty far away.

Mot: She is a scatterbrain from time to time. But at least she is nice most of the time. Most.

Nol: I hope to never get her angry again. Last time I could not even make a sound. I heard that she got angry at Cantio for boasting about her followers a bit too much.

Mot: I know the feeling.

Hex: Which one's?

Mot: Both of them. The feeling of having to teach Mors to not overuse his powers and stay at least a bit modest about them. At least he is getting better at it. And then there is being on the receiving end of Ley's scoldings. She really got on my face when I used my powers a bit too much and destroyed a big island to smithereens. That is when I started to not overuse MY powers too much. Not at least far from my own territory.

Nol: She once scolded me when I created a giant mountain close to a village. She got really mad that time. Still don't entirely get why though.

Hex: You better not tell her that.

Nol: I know.

Mot: Now that I think about it, it is strange that she is the only one among us who prefers to be in female form. The rest of us mostly use male forms when we go around the world. At least most of the time.

Nol: I personally use male form mostly because it is easier to claim to be a fighter or a builder. I still like the attention I get once I am in one of my female forms.

Hex: I personally don't care which I use. I just mostly happen to use male form. I do wonder though why Ley likes being in a female form?

Ley: Hey brothers! Sorry I'm late!

Nol: Speak of the devil.

Mot: Hey! Don't use my creations like that.

Nol: Sorry. Seemed like it would fit.

Ley: What were you guys talking about? Is there a devil here?

Hex: No there is not. We were talking about our male and female forms and I started to wonder. Why do you only use the female form in this world?

Ley: Hhm... A simply because of feeling like it. I guess.

Hex: Because you feel like it?

Ley: Yes. I just feel like it.

Hex: I don't get it.

Nol: Given that you don't care about which gender you are in the slightest, I'm not surprised.

Mot: I'm on your side Nol. It is not surprising at all that he doesn't get it.

Hex: How rude.

Ley: Now now. Let's not get too fixated on that and start talking like we always do. I start. I had fun teaching kids in a village how to read and write the other year.

Hex: Hmph. I don't think it is fun to teach others at all. I myself found joy in seeing what kind of things people come up with magic. Some time ago someone learned a spell that could make you levitate by reducing your weight.

Ley: Well you can't come up with a spell if you don't know how to read and write. Not at least very easily or without talent.

Hex: I suppose that is correct. Reading and writing about magic makes it easier to come up with another kind of spell. Though I still don't like teaching others very much.

Ley: Maybe you should try finding people who might come up with something and teach them as much as you can. Then maybe they can come up with even more amazing spells than they do now.

Hex: You have a point. But I like uninterrupted and unassisted ideas that they come up with.

Nol: Let's agree that you have different ways to enjoy our world and continue with another subject. What about you?

Mot: Me? Well I still have fun destroying stuff that you give me permission to destroy. Speaking of which, can you create me another set of islands and one huge island for me to have fun with? I'm running out of my own territory.

Nol: I suppose I can. I came to create something with you after this meeting.

Mot: Awesome! Then I can show off my little demons I have created. I have created different kinds again.

Nol: I look forward to seeing them.

Mot: They can now turn other races into a subdemon with my blessing.

Hex: They can? Fascinating.

Ley: My little creations vitreuses are amazing too. They are planning to do some huge ritual so they can become more close with me. Something about becoming one big crystal to unify their souls so they can do pass on correctly. I feel bad for the one who will have to stay and watch out for anyone who might interrupt the process while the rest are in the crystal.

Mot: I still don't get it. Why sacrifice their individuality? What will they gain from it?

Ley: I don't know the exact thing they are doing. But I do know that they do it because they were created in a way that they don't seek anything else from this world. They don't even care enough to have any children. They just want to pass on the right way or something.

Hex: They too are fascinating. Can't wait to see what they will do. Oh now I remember what I was going to ask you Nol. Mind if we build a city together?

Nol: Sure I can. But why?

Hex: I want to try to build a place that even Mot can't destroy with his powers.

Mot: A place that I can't destroy?! Bring it on! I want to see that!

Nol: I see. With my power alone I can't create a place that Mot can't destroy. But with your magic, we might be able to make something that can. Let's do it!

Mot: I knew I could trust my siblings to entertain me! What do you think Ley?!

Ley: I think it is wonderful that we are using our powers together. It is a rather weird end though. Still, if you need my assistance on anything, I gladly help.

Mot: Oh! Speaking of working together. Nol! I need your assistance on something after you are done with what you promised to do in my territory.

Ley: What is it? I would like to know.

Hex: Me too.

Mot: I will speak about it later. It is a surprise to Ley after all. I still might need your help later Hex. Though I will first work together with Nol.

Hex: I see.

Mot: Don't look so down! It will be fine. After all, we have all the time in the world to do things we wish to do!
