Chapter 4: The King's Offer

(The Armogodites attacking the gates of Kona)

"  We can't hold the gates any longer, their soldiers are too powerful" one of the soldiers told the Queen

" They came sooner than we expected, we aren't prepared for a war. I still mourn my king" The queen said in fear

" What are we going to do your highness? We can't defeat them" her maid said looking afraid

" Your highness, you need to leave the palace with the women and children, it is not safe here for you" The sorceress said when she had approached the Queen

" I can't leave my people here even if they don't consider me as their queen" The Queen cried out

" Trust me like your king did your highness, The future Kona will need it's queen. Now go" The sorceress said to her

The queen hesitated, her personal maid grabbed her by her hand " we need to go now your highness" she said taking her away

" They have archers!!" One of the soldiers shouted. Before one could say jack Robinson, twelve soldiers went down by the arrows the Armogodites army had shot from outside the gate.

" Give orders to your men while I am gone, I will not let the Armogodites end the people of Kona like they ended my own people " The sorceress said to Kona's Armies commander

" The people of Kona have their trust in you" The commander said hitting his chest hard, with that; he left to give orders. 

The armies of Armogodites climbed the gates in other to get through, they were strong enough to overpower the armies of the Konans. The Armogodites are known to fight like animals during wars, no kingdom had ever won them on any war. Their king is known to be cunning, he doesn't like it when anyone messes with him.
