Chapter 176: Obedience out of Oath

Lehi pressed her lips together after ahe forcedly curved her lips. Lehi made sure to appear presentable in front of everyone from their communication device that was later on published and named as OCULUS. Lehi maintained her eye contact with Kiel and Cyrus and held herself to even glance at Ophir. She tried to pretend that he did not exist but her pheriperal view somewhat extended to glimpse even a side view of Ophir. Lehi can tell that he looked more manly. His curly bounce are neatly trimmed and his black and brown lenses reflects the venue's paint. When the device got disconnected Lehi released a huge sigh and breath that she was suppressing.

"How long are you gonna keep this up?"

Hexel inquired with concern.

Lehi just gave him the look that she is not sure about it.

"If your this affected from a reflection then how much more in person?"

Hexel pondered as he sit beside Lehi.

Lehi just slump and hide her sorrowful face. Hexel opened his oculus and called Kish.

"Hi Hexel glad to see you."

Kish greeted as he eyed Lehi who just waved her hand without her face.

"I can guess why you called but do tell me." Kish said above whisper as he locked his chamber door.

"You see Kish, a friend here is going through a love problem and I've run out of tactics to make her smile" Hexel elaborated as he pointed at Lehi beside him.

Lehi revealed her upper face and glanced at Kish who looked worried and stated.

"That, I still haven't heared anything from Ophir and he does not seem to be affected by it."

Lehi just nod her head and continued to mopped.

Ecles is listening from above and cannot help but feel bad for his student. Ecles recalled a bitter sweet memory of his onw heart break and cannot help but threw a nasty glare at Hexel. Ecles watched the two and got reminded of someone whom he hurted. Ecles ruffled his hair as those flash backs kept knitting his thoughts.

Kish hang up and was distress that he is not able to help. Kish wanted to hassle and just grab his collar for question but that would be inappropriate. Kish decided to sleep for the day and choosed to wait for Ophir to ask for help.

Kiel is getting riled up that Ophir did not even smile nor greeted Lehi. Kiel can understand his situation but as a man can't he just be casual and mature about this rather than being insensitive.

Kiel clenched his fist when he saw him walk out of the room nonchalantly. Kiel wanted to throw a fist at his poker face but Nevi held him and said.

"I feel bad as you do but Ophir knew what he is doing."

Ophir can sense Kiel's anger and Kish's suppressed irritation. His ears were twitching at how their nerves are boiling from his actions but how is he supposed to act after remaining silent and not doing anything for her. When Ophir took a peek of Lehi after three months of not seeing each other. Ophir noticed her skin getting fairer. Her hair grew longer and more shimmering. Her body also gained some muscles and toned proportion. In fact in Ophir's eyes she look more dignified and lovelier.

Ophir glanced at his oculus and recalled Resh's proposal. Ophir thoroughly decided to commit himself in that option. Ophir wonders how will Lehi react. Will she agree or disagree. Ophir continually stared at the cieling and glanced at the whole chamber that he shared with Lehi for three years. Ophir walked back to the memory lane that he first laid his eyes on Lehi within the well.

His first reaction made him laugh, how can mistake her back then as a ghost? Ophir opened their wardrobe and found that almost all of their outfit are in match. Ophir cannot help but mutter the very word that lingers unto his mind.

"Acta Divere."

Resh, Kish, Sage, Sienna and Cyrus conducted a meeting with Ecles.

"This place will be fine with a portal user but the problem would be the distortion of every barrier." Ecles stated.

"Then I recommend Lila instead of Kiel. Kiel should aid Cyrus and Cyprus to solidify the kingdom while the Tale Bearers are gone." Resh muttered.

"I understand your point and it would work if we can hold them back and defaet them at their location but if ever we got overpowered the El Oathniel Kingdom is prepared." Kish stated.

"I volunteer to go as the overseer. Since Sage will be there with me then we can work along just fine. Plus, I already told you about what I saw." Sienna offered.

Their session ended when Ecles hang up from where he is.

Lehi and Hexel run and followed Ecles lead. Their rest got interrupted by the animal's behavior. Ecles pulled the tow to duck when a swarm of bees gathered on top of them. When they glided within the river and streams. They became the target of the fishes as they made their way out of the water. Lehi can feel her body surrendering from their excessive defence. It's already been three days when the whole nature got ballistic.

Hexel cannot fathom how many times was his shirt got wet and dried from his own sweat and body warmth. Ecles looked extravagant and unaffected after their consecutive calvary.

Their hiding got intense when the animal halted but the ground and soil get in to action. All the trees were down. The rivers were burried and all that was left for them to hide was to be in synch with how the ground quakes, errupt nor get hyped. Lehi got saved by Ecles when she stumbled from stepping on the rolling trunks. Hexel also recieved the same hand when he almost fell on the splitted ground.

Ecles did his best to keep his students alive. Ecles cannot help but feel anxious as the week passed by. Hexel picked up the apple from the mud and wiped it with a clean leaves. He summoned his sword to peel their dinner but a fierced windstorm approach them with such speed.
