*alleyway*

Making my way through this shady alleyway I see this bruised woman on the ground she's pale with short raven hair and dirty clothes. She's napping...I think

I walked up to her to ask for some directions

"Hey, do ya know where the main street locateded ," I asked while trying to poke her awake.

"Hey wake up, wake up, wake up"...tch she not wakin' up. Whatever I'll ask someone else

Hearing someone whimper I looked back to see that girl whispering something but was speaking the same language as those thugs...shit.

"Uh, you good," I tried moving toward her, but she screamed...okay I'll just stay over here then.

This is taking too long Ya know what Imma head out trying to walk away she stretched her hand out and yelled something...so know you want my assistance.

Slowly Approaching her I noticed something unusual

'Wings!!' I've never heard of a bird demi-human

Pulling out the healing potion that I obtained from that chest.

"Here drink this" I passed it to her. She Looked hesitant so I gave her a thumbs-up of encouragement...she's not drinking it. 'guess I'll have to force her' opening the potion lid I made her chug the potion. Not without some struggle

"hey don't punch the face" after that was over with she got up and slapped my cheek.

"What the hell is this how you repay me" I yelled getting ready to fight

"I'll throw hands with you bitch" but she cowered in fear.

"Hey don't make me look like a dick" I don't know if what to do now. So I signaled that I was friendly

I think that worked. She got up thank God I didn't get slapped this time

"Sirius" I introduced myself pausing so she could introduce herself

"Se-rious" she attempted to say my name. Did she say serious? maybe I heard her wrong

"Ava Brangwen" she introduced herself

"Ava" I repeated after her. Welp, I Think It's time to go

Dammit, I'm still lost in this shitty alleyway. looking behind me I notice it's that girl from before

"Yo I need direction" I called her out

"Ahh" she screamed and man can she scream I think I'm deaf. I was trying to ask for some direction but she couldn't understand me

I think she knew I was lost cause she signaled me to follow. Guess I'm following her.

<Ava POV>

Hello, I'm Ava 26 years old run of the mill woman with nothing interesting going on in my life until I was mugged by some thugs then a stranger named serious or something helped me recover with a magical drink. He's weird but he used magic! Only chosen ones or rich people can use magic

He must be one of the two. Maybe he's a chosen one he doesn't look rich with all that dirt, and is that blood? I wonder if he's an orphan

We arrived at my apartment building tapping his shoulder I pointed at my room then pointed back at myself indicating that this is my room. "Follow me" I signaled him to follow after me into room 215

*Ava Apartment*

Inside was a living room with a black leather couch with some tears and rips. Couple feet in front of it was a small TV beside it was a small tv remote with faded buttons.

On the left side of the living room was a small kitchen with some rusted kitchen utensils. On the other side was a bedroom with a messy bed clothing scattered on the floor.

Connected to the bedroom was the bathroom inside was a toilet besides that was a shower covered with shower curtains.

Wow this place is just like home well sort of

Ava started dragging me into this small room with a toilet

And a tub with a metal pole coming out of the wall

And dragged me inside giving me a towel. 'now what?' guess I'll take a bath..., But how do get the water? Fiddling with the tub's handle until it started running water.

I took off my rags I called clothing

Feels nice to have a shower after days of not showering. Ava is patiently waiting outside for me to finish

So Wrapping my towel around my chiseled torso(he's not chiseled) I came out of the bathroom, and I see Ava blushing.

"I know I'm handsome but no need to get wet from little ol' me" using my seductive voice I whispered in her ear. She ran into the bathroom

'Damn could've just said no" Pain...

Ava finally came out of the bathroom after an hour.

Going into her room...and came out with some books

'Why did she bring books ' she soon signaled me to come closer 'oh she's going to teach me her language'

Damn, I can't understand any of this *sigh* this is frustrating. Ava started showing me cards with what I assumed to be letters she called them the ABC's

They weren't that tough, but when learning words is a difficult task. After some hours of that torture, it's time to get some rest Ava pointed at the couch 'so that's where I'm sleeping' nodding I got onto it then

Ava passed me a blanket, "thanks" I told her even if she can't understand me. She smiled at that afterward she turned of the lights and went to her room.

This isn't so bad
