New Leader

"Now that that's handled" Cecillia started off. "We can finally get through the rest of the things I wanted to talk about. As you can see, we have a few new members in our team while gesturing to Rafael's friends sitting in the front row..

"Alright you guys can come up so everyone can get a better look at you guys" Cecilia said. Hearing Cecillia, Ashley, Miguel and the rest shily got up in a single file line towards the front of the room.

"Not you though, miss government employee" she said before sending Leila back to her seat while Leila gave Cecillia a scornful look. Up at the front stood Ashley, Miguel, Liza, and Amy and everyone gave a nonchalant applause for these unknown members.

Seeing Leila sent back, Rafael realized he would have to talk to Leila after this and make sure she wouldn't say anything about the Black Water Syndicate. According to Cecillia, since this group belonged to Rafael now, he wouldn't want it to go to waste if Leila sold him out to the authorities.

'But would she?' he thought. "I doubt it since Draco did tell her to watch over me. I'll talk to her just in case" Rafael judged since from the looks she was giving Cecillia there was going to be some sort of animosity between them.

"You guys can return now," Cecillia said, allowing Ashley and company back to their seats. Turning back she gestured to Rafael forward.

'I can already tell where this is going to go' thought Rafael with a sigh. [Good Luck] Eve said in his mind. 'Thanks, it looks like I might need it'

Standing next to Cecilla, Rafael looked towards all the members in the crowd.

"Now here is the biggest news so far" Cecilia started off. "I would like all of you to welcome our…"

'Here we go' Rafael said in anticipation for the worst.

"OUR NEW LEADER!!!" Cecilia said with excitement and happiness in her voice.

"eh?"

"Huh?!"

"What?"

An array of confused and perplexed voices came from the various members in the room. Even Miguel, Ashley, and Amy were confused as everything in the past few days had gone too fast for them. "WHAT?!" yelled out Leila in surprise.

"What is the meaning of this!!!!??" yelled out a short brown haired girl while slamming her hands loudly on the table she was sitting on threatening to break it an half.

"I know that this is hard to believe..." Cecilia started explaining but she was suddenly cut off.

"I don't care who he is, but he will not be my new leader!" the girl said walking up to Rafael and Cecillia in big strides before stopping in front of Rafael and glaring at him angrily.

"I don't give a fuck of who you are whether you are her boytoy or not. I don't know what you did to my boss to get her wrapped around you like this." she said condescending while poking his chest. "You're a lowlife scum, wannabe warrior!" she said scanning him up and down still pointing her finger at Rafael. "Fat, no strength…" she kept hurling insults at Rafael.

"Get your finger off of me," Rafael said, holding back his anger. Each insult only added more and more slowly reaching the boiling point, but Rafael kept quiet and clenched his fist.

"Or what?!" she declared getting up on Rafael's.

"LEXI! STOP THAT!!" Cecilia yelled out angrily, seeing her disrespect Rafael like that. Seeing that Lexi, the brown haired girl, got even more angry seeing her boss' usual cold and calculating image she respected so much break in front of her.

"You're not the usual you boss" Lexi told Cecillia with worry on her face. "No worries I'll get you back!" she said before turning back to Rafael. "What the hell did you do to get her like this!" she yelled out angrily while effortlessly picking up Rafael from the cuff of his shirt even if she was a foot shorter than Rafael.

"I said stop," Rafael said in between clenched teeth while his hands shook from anger. Ever since arriving in this world he noticed that power reigned supreme. If you were strong you were right since no one was stupid enough fight them. He was sick of this power dynamic, what happened to basic human courtesy?

"Now tell me!!" Lexi yelled out. "Spit it out! Mind control, coercion, slave contract!? My boss isn't like this to anyone except us!"

"Let go of him!" yelled out Miguel pulling the girl by the hand.

"Let go of me dipshit" she said before throwing Miguel off of her with ease by using some force to send Miguel flying through the room and into the wall.

"Miguel!" yelled out Ashley running to check up on him. Rafael went wide eyed seeing his best friend thrown like a ragdoll.

"STOP THIS RIGHT NOW!!" Cecilia reached out to stop Lexi. Multiple members got up to diffuse the situation. Although many of them were on Lexi's side they didn't want things to get ugly. At this point, Rafael was well over his boiling point. 'Human decency?' thought Rafael. 'I don't care anymore. EVE what are my chances at beating her without going berserk?

'Good enough' before throwing a full power punch at Lexi's face causing her to step back a few steps, but not before dropping Rafael.

Lexi spat out a bit of saliva from the punch. Although it barely did any damage to her she was still pissed he punched her.

"You actually threw a punch?" she said with a crazed chuckle.

"You hurt my friend," Rafael said angrily while holding his bruised knuckles.

Straightening herself out she rolled up her sleeves preparing to duke it out. "I'll break YOUR FUCKING LEGS!!" she yelled before rushing like a bullet towards Rafael's location.

"Bring it," Rafael said. [Make sure you teach her a lesson!] Eve cheered in his mind.

Automatically Rafael's skill [Foresight] activated allowing him to see her next actions. Side stepping he narrowly dodged her strike while feeling her punch graze his chest as a strong wind surfaced from it.

Although he dodged the first strike [Foresight]'s low level could only see so far before deactivating after only 5 seconds of narrowly dodging her strikes each time. Without [Foresight] Rafael took a punch to the gut and got sent flying to the wall causing it to shatter from the impact.

After the debris cleared, Rafael came out bloodied and bruised from the hit. Although Lexi didn't hit him at full power it still did a lot of damage nearly crippling him.

"LEXI!!" yelled out Cecillia while storming up to her and holding her by the arm with an icy and cold glare. If anything ice started forming around where Cecillia held Lexi threatening to freeze her on the spot.

"Boss?" Lexi said a bit shaken up after seeing Cecillia's cold glare. Cecillia never looked at her nor treated her this way. Lexi always idolized and looked up to her boss so seeing her captain look at her with such hatred shook her a bit.

Rafael, pissed off and tired of the power dynamic, transformed into his Demon form and in a flash grew to a 9 feet tall muscular purple demon with chains and tattoos before teleporting in front of her while staring her down with a chillin glare.
