"You think I'm obsessed of power?" He took one step forward towards me, my whole system stiffened. My heart drum inside my chest and my breath hitch with excitement and fear. "Seems like it," "There are two things I'm obsessed of," He held me tightly as he wrapped his rough hand around my wrist. I tried to wiggle free against his strong hold. "I... I don't care," my voice came out ghastly. "One," the thickness of his voice laced through my skin. "You are my obsession," "Two..." He slurs. "Pinning you in my bed, chained, and screaming my name from unbearable pleasure until you past out." And his eyes have become so dark, they would be able to swallow me whole. "You're a nutcase," my lips quivered as his fingers trailed against the small part of my neck. "You, in my bed, legs spread wide open...chained and screaming my name until you beg me to stop." His adams apple bobs in his throat as his hand tucks a strand of hair behind my ear. "You like that about me, my unhinged mind and how I f*ck you rough my love, let me remind you of that." My breath deepened and I fought the need to kiss him or lick my lips as an invitation. ************** Shiloh battles against her complicated life everyday. Being a part of weak witches in their town she is known to be dumb and mute girl who sells faulty potions for a bag of elixirs while her brother is thriving in the famous academia. Yet one night her peaceful life came crashing down. She was kissed by a vampire! She was intoxicated and addicted to the man's sweet lips. But her addiction is fatally wrong for vampires are being hunt and killed for 'safety'. What will she do when the man in the alleyway was a part of her past? The man who loved...and killed her.
Vienel pushed me to eat insects at the festive. It still makes me vomit to look at the bugs being submerged in the frying pan on the sides of the streets.
"I'll look for Mateo, and I'll ring you when I already have the cure." I said while munching the last bite of the hotdog.
"Ring me for every update, not just the cure, silly."
"Alright," I surrendered.
We parted ways and I made my way towards the alleyway leading towards the long walk into the dormitory.
This is the shortest way to get there as fast as possible.
A few blocks over, a familiar awareness touched the nape of my neck. With an uncomfortable chill seeping through my skin, I halted and turned around. Feeling relief when I saw no one on the empty alleyway.
I didn't make it far before feeling it again. Another glance behind me, and through the musty dark alleyway, I saw a tattooed hand bringing a cigarette to a masculine set of lips, in between his fangs. The image reminded me of the man in the garden earlier.
My lungs went cold. Could someone actually be watching me? I shook my head, I'm a nobody actually so why would someone make time and watch me eventually?
Yeah, Shiloh you're hallucinating.
Horrid things like sex trafficking consumed my thoughts as I slipped my hands into my pockets and picked up the pace. Multiple news about girls my age are taken away, humors tells they were sold for higher price of elixirs.
I glanced behind me again to see the man in a black cloak but his face is hidden through a black mask only revealing his red eyes and red lips. My chest tightened with each quick, shallow breath. Just as I made it to the Aseff dormitory doors, I looked back to find he was gone.
Then, I ran into something hard and yelped.
"Watch where you're going,"
I knew that voice, it never fails to give me tiny chills and anxiousness.
"You alright?" Mateo asked.
"Sorry, I…thought someone was following." I was out of breath and partly scared.
Red eyes, and black cloak. That person is surely a vampire. If he wanted to hurt me, surely he would have done it the moment he had a chance, but he didn't.
It's not Eiran for sure. I would have sensed his earthy citrusy scent miles away from me.
Mateo snapped his fingers, "Earth to you Shiloh," his thick voice resounded, it sounded so different. When it comes to Eiran it sounded so…sexy, sultry and even hypnotizing.
"I'm sorry,"
"What are you doing here?"
"Well," I breathe deeply to gather enough courage. This is for pops, Shiloh. You can do this. "I was looking for you," I continued, curling my palm over my shirt to ease the chills running freely on my spine.
His lips curled up in a very weird awful way, like how a maniac would smile while looking upon its prey.
Should I kick his balls?
Nah, Shiloh this is for your father.
But if we we're in a different scenario, I likely would have already knack his balls and crushed them using my fist.
"Wonderful isn't it? I guess my wooing in the pub already works? Or is it the spells I've summoned,"
"My father was infected by the skin rot, I'm thinking if you could give him a cure or any sorts of medicine,"
"That's really a huge favor there."
He trailed my neck downwards into my shoulder, then it stopped at my wrist.
"I'm willing to do anything Sir,"
"Anything?" He peered, smiling.
"Yes,"
He chuckled and growled like a wild animal. My heart started to beat abnormally. Fear rushed in my insides.
"Well, well, if a peasant needs help. You know the drill." He grabbed me by my wrist and yanked me to walk towards the staircase of the old dormitory.
"What drill?"
Sweat coated my palms and feet.
"I'll give you the cure once you give me something I'm very fond of," he trailed. His eyes raking me from my lips to the space between my thighs.
I bit my lips, trying to find a way to escape.
When we reached his room, he threw me off towards his bathroom.
"Clean up, I have a task for you." He said then I heard to loud click of the door.
