Lina was stumped by the answer she heard from her friend, Sally.

"Y-You're k-kidding, right???" Lina stammers as she pressed on asking her.

"Why would I? It's been years since I felt this way." She replied sweetly and held Lina's hand, making the latter turn her gaze downward.

With a refrain smile, Sally added. "I'm happy. As my best friend, please be happy for me."

Lina gulped and had a hard time processing everything.

She was prepared that Sally might take the bait laid for her but not to this degree!

Sally mused her right hand and placed it on Lina's cheek.

"I need to get going. Bye for now."

Sally retracts her hand and leaves her alone in the private room.
