After learning what's the deal with the Fragmented Crystalized Orb of Darkness. Gerard decided to collect as much as he can. He might not be able to extract them at the moment but he can use them in the future.

He was doing good so far, even if he faced multiple low-level Gargoyles, he came victorious with half of HP remaining. Looted a couple of Fragmented Crystalized Orb of Darkness. And for how long he has been doing the same thing over and over again?

Four days.

I've been underground for four days! My food is about to run out! Is there no end to this long dark cave? And where does this lead anyway?! He muttered to himself with indignant.

His predicament was getting worse day by day. Although his mobility was still the same before he fell thanks to his mana, his face begins to sunken due to a lack of food. The food he stashed inside his space inventory will only last him for a couple of days.
