Mammon’s Domain

Ah, where am I? Gerard's consciousness travels through deep space and found many stars and many galaxies.

Gerard's consciousness wanders and traverses galaxies and stars at inconceivable speed until he loses control and cannot push the brake to stop.

Gerard's consciousness traversed exponentially, tripling his speed every three seconds and all he sees is a fast-moving particle of light of millions of galaxies and stars until the deep cold dark space was enthralled by a blinding explosion of light.

Gerard begins slowly opening his eyes but contrary to his expectation, he saw many tall buildings and a thick crowd of people. Some of the buildings have large screens and play an advertisement.

Many people, with suites coming in and just out from their job passed him by.

His eyes widen and look around!

Gerard scoffed and produce a dry laugh.
