Disclaimer: Most of the contents in this book doesn't belong to me but from the original author name NaranNarman, the author of the original Synthetic Survivor. The reason I made this book was create a better version of it, because some part of the story isn't good and doesn't make any sense, so I'll rewrite it then. While the original author seems retires and didn't complete the whole story, I might just gonna complete it for him. And also, in this book, the characters and the outcome of the story is similar, I added an extra twist to make the story very thrill. And I change the names from the orginal book cause I felt like it. Goddess vs Machine

Fun Fact: Android Soldiers' Energy Blades were strong as Lightsabers. Artemis however is strong as the Mother-Trucking 'Crucible' that surpass Absolute Hot!!

Another fun fact is that Primelium metal is nearly or stronger as/than the Praetor suit which could withstand Argent Energy!

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"My world was... brilliant... magnificent with grand splendour. We humans dominated our world, exploited it and reached for the stars. Then, one day, I found myself alone inside the remains of our once proud civilization. As you can see throughout, there are only sands and sand dunes, in the distance you may even see structures. Those were built by us. I may not remember everything…

…But you can bet that I did not cause this mess either…

I can't even explain what I have been experiencing this past few months in this world of yours. A world of magic, the very force that defies conventional science. If it wasn't for one of those cults, we wouldn't be here. But I'm glad they did,"

The Goddess Gliesia was getting impatient. She knew that Artemis was delaying her, letting her lower her guard so that he could attack her at her weakest.

But still, she was curious.

"Lately, I've been having these... dreams. In those dreams there is always a voice... a voice that speaks with me. Claiming that she knows me, pushing me to go on with what I have been doing. I am always impulsed to carry out what it wishes. Yet, everytime I wake, I forget. But the urge to fulfill my "mission" remains…

...you are but an obstacle. I will massacre billions more that will get in my way!"

Then her vision blackened.

"Where am I?!" She screamed.

There was silence.

And then, her vision returned. She was standing on top of a structure that she had never seen before. She walked towards the edge and saw the gleaming city below. There were these small things moving down there, there were also these big monstrosities that occupied the sky.

She saw many humans going about their daily lives. She could not even begin to comprehend. They were there, wearing strange clothes. She could see their smiles, their struggles, she could even feel what they felt.

All of a sudden, the sky darkened and ravenous black clouds stormed the skies and it began to rain. The rain was a thick, black smudge that melted the city. She looked down once more, this time, she saw no harmony.

But blood.

In the distance, explosions rocked the city and the sounds of cackling and cracking filled her ears. She began to feel nauseous and anxious.

"Turn this away!" She screamed but the violence escalated further. Soon, she found herself in the shoes of an unnamed girl. She was running through the war torn streets. A thick black haze covered the air and the smell of rotting corpses filled her nostrils.

She felt afraid of something but she did not know what it was. But the fear that was associated with it lingered deep inside her. The little girl then found herself trapped between a huge battle.

She saw humans that flew, held strange weapons and had strange armour. They were accompanied by these metal beasts that spat out fire from their mouths and flying dragons that spewed stones the shape of rods that birthed a fiery ball.

They were battling against these familiar black creatures that she never forgot. They were abominations. The abominations are getting smaller the more they get hit by their power and some small ones were even destroyed by a blue projectile by soldiers with a huge rod with blue light in it. Then more kept coming.

The abominations soon swallowed the humans and their companions and they began to flee while the abominations glow yellow inside then grow a few centimeters. The humans fled from the battle until more humans came and they battled once more.

The humans, by a slim margin, won. They slaughtered the abominations and they shouted with glory.

Then, she found herself within the shoes of a lone man.

That lone man was standing on top of a hill that overlooked a ruined city.

"Unfortunately, what I heard about this was just one of humanity's small victories. I don't know the details about the war but I heard they won over them until a second wave comes, it's not the same black abominations but different creatures. I don't even know what or who are they,"

And then suddenly, a bright flash of light blinded her.

And she was back inside her seat, rushing for air.

"Enough of this!" The Blue Goddess screamed in a rage. She hastily stood from her chair and lunged at Artemis literally at light speed with her flaming fists.

Artemis then dashed to meet her head on, surprising the goddess as she expected Artemis to dodge. He did not. More surprising to her is that he got the same speed as her.

(Anyone who read Curing the Multiverse, now I show you the missing part of the scene of Artemis and the Goddess!)

The two enemies clashed and a shockwave blew the both of them away from each other. The impact radiated across the whole landscape, shaking the sandy dunes and causing the clouds overhead to part ways.

The Goddess was blown a few hundred feet away but regained her composure right after. She scanned the surroundings but there was no sight of Artemis.

Until he came up behind her.

The Android slammed his fists down the goddess' shoulders, pounding her into the ground and causing it to crack. The ground below them gave way and the landscape tore itself apart as the two clashed in a vacuum of space.

With each passing moment, reality blended according to the will of the two powerful beings that were in it. They hurled many objects and weapons at each other in the hope that one of them will be caught off-guard.

And as the two became evermore creative, the goddess unleashed one massive pillar of energy that could destroy the moon to oblivion, after she shot the beam, the pillar of energy blasted through Artemis' defensive shield. The blast knocked Artemis a kilometer away but the goddess caught up to him, a planet manifested below them and the goddess pushed him through the planet's orbit and into the ground like meteors, as they made impact to the ground, she pounded him into the ground, creating a city size crater.

Artemis was motionless all throughout. The goddess pounded him with everything she got, punching his face repeatedly with her blue flame in massively FTL+, his artificial organic tissue kept repeatedly destroyed and healing rapidly everytime she slammed, however she couldn't get through his Primelium endoskeleton which she could broke through all of Fordalt's most strongest defenses like tissue, the Primelium still doesn't have a single scratch yet.

The Goddess continued to beat Artemis to the ground until to the point where they dug straight towards the Planet's core.

While she continues to beat him, he seems to be very calm while getting beaten.

"Just die already!!"

Pulling her fist and putting more power in it, she then struck down one more time.

However…

Her fist was caught.

Not even a second had passed, Artemis instantly regenerated in an instant.

"Death refuses,"

Giving her a smirk, Artemis' whole body began to glow, the Goddess noticed the danger and tried to escape but her movement was immediately restricted by Artemis. No choice, she had to tank it!

In the vacuum of space, the blue glowing body of the goddess stood floating in the zero gravity of space. She began to look around her surroundings.

Realizing there are no signs of Artemis, she let out a sign in relief.

"Finally…"

"Who said the battle was finally over?"

Opening her eyes wide, she instantly turned her head to see a figure among the asteroids. To her shock, the humanoid appears to be what she hates the most.

Artemis, after they literally blow up the planet, he is still fine as good.

But what made the Goddess widen her eyes was Artemis without his whole artificial flesh, she's looking at his Cybernetic form.

"See, Death refuses,"

"So… this is your real form?" She asked.

"Hm? Ah, you can say that. But I prefer with the human appearance one,"

Artemis says in a calm tone.

Few moments have passed and none of the two moved. Artemis seems like he was waiting for the Goddess' next move and as for the Goddess… She was silent.

The whole space was very silent for a moment before the Goddess.. laughs like a maniac.

She laughs very loud and long, which ruins her beauty.

Luckily, she stops. But all of the sudden, her expression instantly changes to an angered beast that goes on a rampage.

"WHY WON'T YOU EVER DIE!!!!!"

Using her remaining power, a long blue energy sword manifested in her hand. Everytime it slightly moves, it is able to tear the fabric of space.

Because her sword was her ultimate weapon. Her divine blade has 20% power equivalent to the Almighty Godfather's Sword that could cut a Universe in half. It could even possibly penetrate through Artemis' Primelium component.

Using her remaining strength, she rushed at Artemis in her top speed, a speed that is a 100 times faster than light itself!

With a roar, she's already in front of Artemis and was about to slash the Divine blade in his face.

Until suddenly, her movement came into an abrupt halt while the blade stopped just a single millimeter from Artemis.

The goddess felt her body tighten with no visible force causing it. Suddenly, her chest began to feel heavy. She began to gasp for air as her body violently jolted in on itself as if there was something inside her pulling her together.

The goddess shrieked and began to cough up blue blood. She began to convulse as her eyes tried their very best to remain open. Her vision became blurry and the only thing she saw in front of herself was the silhouette of a man who had already defeated her.

"Funny, isn't it?" Artemis said as he pushed the blade from his face that the goddess was about to slash him with. His finger surprisingly pushes the blade, it did cause damage to his finger but it didn't dig even much deeper into the metal while the nanites are rebuilding his organic tissue but still exposing through his robotic face.

"You came into my mind thinking that I was only somewhat stronger than the average man. That was where you were mistaken. As you floated there helplessly, your body collapsing in on itself, I can hear your cries for help. You're crying deep inside for the other deities to save you, am I correct?...

...wait, that's right. It's hard to speak...

...you are suffering because you resist, don't you know? This entire plane of existence bends according to our will. Knowing that, I placed something inside you that I know is beyond even your comprehension. A force that even light cannot escape from…

...This is the power of our dreams. I remember something called 'lucid' dreaming and it sums up everything around here. Our manifestations inside this dimension are our consciousness tied to our psyche. Hence, it's my very own vulnerability outside of external forces...

…this is where you miscalculated. You came to the realization that my willpower is stronger than yours. Broken, I know, but strong. Stronger than even that of a goddess. How can that be? You are asking while you shriek…

…There is only one explanation for your defeat. Your utter demise…

...I am no ordinary man"

Artemis then approached the collapsing goddess. Her divine blade started to disappear in million particles and her skin went from blue to grayish. It seemed most likely that she was, indeed, defeated.

Artemis then extended his hand to her left distorted cheek and gently massaged it.

"Any last word?"

The goddess replied her last words with difficulty and rage.

"You... will never... win"

He then leaned close to her ear and whispered in his robotic voice.

"I already have"

And the goddess was sucked into a singularity. No trace of her was left.

Artemis then looked around. Walking around the concrete slab he created that expanded to accommodate his feet, following it.

He actually paid no intention as to what the goddess hurled at him. Seeing that he is still inside the dimension even after defeating her, he concluded that he will be stuck inside for a while.

Might as well get himself comfortable like bending reality to entertain himself. Like watching por- I mean try to experience playing basketball.
