A shrill cry of pain screeched out of the the guy's lips as Alex twisted his hand mercilessly.

How dare him?!

How dare he touch what was his?!

"Spare me, Spare me... please!" The guy screamed at the mercy of Alex. His hand was on fire.

However, Alex was not done yet but he didn't want to scare his arrogant sheep. Even the young man himself was lucky enough not to have his hand chopped as cracky sounds was heard from this wrist.

"Ahh..!" His screams began drawing attentions to them and Kimberly who doesn't want a bad media reputation had to quickly rushed to Alex's side, holding his other hand gently.

"Please it's okay, am fine... don't cause a scene.." she muttered but his next glare shut her up. Fear crept into her system as he stared at her. The only thing she could see in his eyes at that moment was anger.

"How could you allow him to touch his filthy hands on you..?" He growled surprising Kimberly who almost smiled at how possessive he sound but she didn't.

Alex turned to the guy and threw him to the floor roughly. He then made to hit him when all of a sudden Kimberly stood in the way.

"Please stop.." she whispered, staring at the gorgeous angry man in front of her. She get that he was angry and she didn't know why but she wouldn't want him to cause a ruckus all because of her.

However...

Before Kimberly could know what was happening, Alex grabbed her wrist, taking her by surprise as he dragged her towards the exit of the mall.

"Get in!" He said calmly in an ordering voice but Kimberly stood on her ground. She didn't like this sight of things right now, not even a bit.

The one time attention she didn't want to draw was now on her and she didn't like any of it.

Like, people were staring at her as if she was caught two timing.

However..., She needed to get out of there.

Without saying a word nor disagreeing with him, Kimberly went inside the car and he did also, driving out of the place roughly.

Throughout the drive to the castle, Alex wouldn't stop cursing out while Kimberly sat in the passenger's seat, hugging herself.

She just couldn't get it, why was the man beside fussing over what was not his business in any way?

However...

Immediately they got to the Castle, it was already evening. Alex got out of the car and went inside without a word. She watched and heaved a rough sigh.

What's his deal anyway?

Did she do the wrong thing by letting that guy touch her?

These were Kimberly's thought as she began walking towards her own room. She entered her room, walked to the bed and She laid on it. It was immediately she laid on her bed that she suddenly remembered Camilla..

"Oh shit..!" She muttered and quickly grabbed her phone calling Camilla's number. However, the call went through but she wasn't picking up.

Kimberly sighed..

How could she have forgotten something her?

Meanwhile....

During the moment Alex, Ethan and Roman walked into the shopping mall, Roman's eyes widened as his nose caught the familiar scent of Camilla. His eyes scanned around the mall and finally landed on Camilla who was busy selecting clothes from the clothes section.

"Cam..??" Roman called surprised.

What is she doing here in country M?!

He wanted to run towards her, pull her into his arms and kiss her hard till she forgets her name but he pulled himself back.

"Let's give each other some space." He remembered her words the other day at her place and stood back. He couldn't do anything but only stand at the place he was watching her movement.

But however...

For how long can he last when Elias, his wolf was trying hard for Roman to make a room for him and his mate alone, since he was being too gentle.

*LET ME OUT ROMAN! I PROMISE I WONT MESS US UP!*

Elias was growling angrily in Roman's head already and was trying hard to shift but Roman wouldn't allow him. It was after a while, that he finally decided to make a move and approach he and that was Elias at work, Roman finally he him take over.

Walking towards the only woman he loves that kept pushing him away was an awkward feeling. Roman was trembling all over while Elias on the hand was all smiles.

Why wouldn't he be? He was finally going to speak to and hear his mate's voice once again for the last few days of loneliness.

He was still walking towards her when..

"Let go of her.."

He heard Alex's cold voice, he halted to know what was happening and before he could turn towards Camilla again, the spot were she was seconds ago was empty.

Huh?!

His eyes scanned around hastily in search of her but he didn't see her anywhere around, even her scent was gone..

"She was here just now, but where did she go?" Roman muttered still looking around for her. He had to go to the restroom all sections to look for her but still he couldn't find her.

His shoulder dropped and he began walking back to where Alex and Ethan was in a sore mood when suddenly, his eyes narrowed sadly as realization dawned on him...

She had seen him and quickly hid herself from him..

She was avoiding him...

Getting to where he left them, Roman only saw Ethan there waiting for him. From what he saw happened earlier, he could guess what happened as he and Ethan began walking out of the mall but not without casting a last glance at the mall with hope of seeing his mate.

As they got to the car, Ethan took the driver seat while Roman took the passenger seat, slowly Ethan ignited the car and they drove off out of the mall.

However...

Immediately their car was out of sight, Camilla's figure walked out from a corner of the mall with tears in her eyes..

"I'm s-sorry.."

~~THAT SAME NIGHT ~~

Old man Liu and the maids all watched in total silence as Alex played with the food they served him, he seemed in thought. This will be very first time in hundreds of years that Alex was eating at the main dinning room in the castle.

He was the one who had made the rule for all his meals to be served at the dinning in his chambers but today they were all surprised to see him in the main dining room including old man Liu.

Well, After what happened at the mall in the afternoon. Alex had purposely decided to go against his will and sit at the main dining room for dinner that night, just so he could see his arrogant sheep.

*YOU DON'T HAVE ANY EXCUSE, DO YOU?* Sebastian said in Alex's head.

*WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?* Alex asked and Sebastian scoffed, rolling his eyes.

*YOU GOT SO MAD AT THE GUY TO THE POINT OF ALMOST DAMAGING HIS WRIST WHEN YOU SAW HIM HITTING ON OUR MATE AND BEFORE I COULD REACT YOU WERE ALREADY PLAYING THE POSSESSIVE BOYFRIEND. EVERYTHING WAS YOU, WASN'T..?* Sebastian said all in one breath, earning a scoff from Alex.

Alex just couldn't stop thinking about Kimberly's voice and the way she looked at him when he dragged her out of the mall in anger. Even the way she responded to the incident was so unexpected, as she had put his reputation before hers. She really surprised him when she went into the car like he told her to without a word, unlike her usual arrogant self.

He was still thinking about her when he suddenly remembered the swollen part of her wrist that was caused by the pressure of his hold on her and his eyes darkened.

Alex suddenly looked up at once and the maids bowed in fear.

"Get out.." He muttered.

In a blink of an eye, They all ran out of the dinning room without looking back.

Alex stood up and let out a crazy chuckle before frowning back,he was filled up with sudden anger, at himself for hurting his mate that he was ought to protect even without starting.

Where was all those longings he had for her when he hadn't realized she was his mate??

*YOU SHOULD CONTROL YOURSELF AND FIND A WAY TO MAKE OUR MATE RECOGNIZE US AS HERS AND NOT SITTING AROUND HERE WALLOWING IN REGRET..* Sebastian said and Alex shut him off.

His emerald eyes switched to yellow instantly and he growled.

He was wishing that no one comes in at that moment but almost immediately, Ethan and Roman entered and Alex charged towards them.

Both Ethan and Roman stopped on their tracks immediately..

"Lex.." Before Roman could finish what he was saying, Alex grabbed him by the neck and hit his back roughly hard on the wall.

Roman winced and Alex's hand tightened around his neck, his claws beginning to make their way out.

However...

"Alpha.. Are you okay..?"

"Are you.....okay??"

Both said at once and immediately like a magic, Alex's eyes returned back to normal and he released Roman's neck.

Roman touched his neck with confusion written all over his face as he twisted his neck a bit before looking at Alex who was now seated with Ethan beside him.

"Did anything happened?" Roman asked sitting down too.

"What are you two doing here..?" Alex questioned. Ethan and Roman shared a look with raised brows before returning their gaze to Alex.

Were they not supposed to be the ones to ask that question??

"We were told you are here, when we couldn't find you in your chamber.." Ethan said.

"Have you both eaten?" He asked.

"No,that's why we were.." Roman was still saying when...

"You can eat mine.." Alex muttered standing up.

"Really?, you want us to eat together?" Ethan asked with a cheeky smile.

"I lost my appetite.." Alex said and began walking away.

"What's with him?" Roman muttered.
