Robin throws up her hands in exasperation. "Whim? Is that what you call it? I call it basic respect and common decency - two things you seem sorely lacking!"
"What's that supposed to mean?" Ramsey retorts, his face flushing with anger and his eyes wild. "What the hell, Robin?!"
Lifting her nose, she glares at him defiantly, "You heard me!"
The harsh words hang in the air between them, the anger palpable. This was the first time they were being like this. How did they come to this point?
The argument goes on for several minutes, the two of them standing on the side of the road, shouting at each other like they're in a bad soap opera.
Finally, Robin's anger exhausts itself, and she demands, "What's going on with you, Ramsey? Why have you been avoiding me?"
Ramsey's face flushes, and he averts his gaze. "I... I don't know what you're talking about," he mutters.
