I Forgot That You Existed

At school.

In Louisa's classroom, she was sitting quietly at the back raw alone when the teacher came.

She has five subjects to attend today, each is 45 minutes and now she's at the second and this is her favorite subject, Science.

Her teeth shook with excitement seeing the full-body skeleton that her teacher brought.

Without wasting time, she got up and went to the first row. She noticed the empty chair on the left side earlier so she sat there with her eyes behind her bangs shining with delight.

He teacher turned to face the student but soon her expression flattened seeing the other students scrambling to change their chairs to get away from one student, Louisa Su.

The teacher shut her eyes with discomfort after she saw the skull with a bloodstain on Louisa's desk.

When Louisa saw her teacher pasting photos of different parts of the human body on the board, her hands moved to clap.

She raised a hand after writing down her request on her tablet.

When her teacher turned to face them, she lifted the tablet in the air with her request saying 'Can I borrow the skeleton after class?'

She could see her teacher raising an eyebrow and with a monotonous voice, she replied, "No but I would like to speak with your parents tomorrow."

Dismay was in Louisa's face as she lowered her tablet. She got up, picked up her back and carried it, and without saying a word, she left the classroom.

Her teacher called out her name, and with her face wrinkling with exasperation, she turned and glared at her teacher.

Beneath Louisa's bangs, the teacher saw her eyes changing from brown to black, she gulped hard and turned back to the student, letting the little girl leave the room even though the class hasn't started yet.

Meanwhile, in the triplet's classroom. All students were focusing on their history teacher except Leo and Alexa.

The triplets were sitting right next to each other in the last row, avoiding the other students.

"Can anyone tell me when did the world war two end?"

As the teacher asked that, Ethan at the back raised his hand but, the teacher ignored him and looked at the other students, the boy has been active, unlike his two siblings.

"Alexandria Su, would you like to give me one?"

Alexa who had earphones hiding under her hair was suddenly confuse why everyone's eyes were staring at her.

She gulped hard, and slowly, her hands discreetly removed her earphones and hid it in her pocket.

She slightly leaned at Ethan and whispered, "What is happening?"

Ethan whispered back, "the teacher is asking you a question."

Hearing that, Alexa immediately got up, and with confidence, she met her teacher's eyes.

"What was your question?"

The teacher blinked.

"Didn't you hear my question?"

"I wouldn't be asking if I heard it." Alexa flatly replied.

The students laugh, and Alexa could see the teacher's face turning into red.

"Leo Su, would you like to help your sister?" the teacher turned her head at Leo who was looking at the board, strangely, he had glasses today which he doesn't normally wear.

Leo who was busy watching an anime through his glasses was suddenly disturbed when Ethan elbowed him.

He took off his glasses and found everyone looking at him.

He got up and looked at Alexa standing next to him.

"What is happening?"

Alexa looked at him with a flat face.

"Were you not listening too?"

Leo shook his head, "I was watching,"

Alexa creased her brows with confusion.

"You don't have earphones? How can you hear it?"

Leo whispered back, "there's a subtitle but, what's wrong with the student. Why are they staring at us?"

Their conversation was interrupted when the teacher spoke.

"Leo, Alexandria, mind telling us what you two are talking about?"

Alexa rose an eyebrow; students are staring at them laughing and it's making her feel discomfited.

"it's nothing teacher."

The teacher sighed, "fine. But next week, I want you and Leo to make a summary report about world war two."

Alexa could not help but rose an eyebrow after hearing it.

"Which part of the world war two exactly."

"All of it."

Alexa facetiously giggled, "that's going to take us forever I mean it will be easier if Leo and I will just go to hell and interview Hitler," and as soon as those words let out from her lips, the smile she had vanished.

Looking at her teacher, clenching her fists on the sides, Alexa suddenly understood the weight of her words.

"Alexandria Su-"

Knowing what her teacher was about to say, Alexa spoke, "I know, I know, I will bring my parents tomorrow."

She was about to sit when her teacher called out her name.

"Yes, I want your parents and also I want you to stand outside until this class ends."

Hearing that, Alexa's face wrinkled. She took her backpack and left the room.

With a pout on her lips, Alexa stood on the side of the hallway, she had her backpack on and books in her hands.

After hearing that her teacher resumed the topic, Alexa put on her earphones and started listening to music.

Alexa doesn't know how long she has been standing there, but she was on her fourth song.

As she sang the lyrics in her mind, her eyes were looking at the wall opposite her. It was painted with white while some handprints and names of students that vandalized it were visible on the white wall, her head slowly rocked as she enjoyed the music.

Out of nowhere, the music stopped, she turned to her right and found her math teacher who pulled the earphones out of her ears.

She met his narrowed eyes.

"Why are you in the hallway?"

"My history teacher threw me out of the room," she replied straight.

She took the earphones from him and leaned her back on the wall, she stomped a foot on the floor as the music started again.

She snubbed her math teacher standing next to her since she found out that he's going to be her teacher, she didn't care about her grades anymore, the way she treated him, words she said to him, she's certain that even she works hard, her math subject will surely fail.

The sound of the cash register closing has made Selena's senses come back.

Standing behind the cashier, Selena's mind was somewhere else, she realized that her mind flew somewhere again.

She sighed and gave the change of the customer.

"Daniella, cappuccino," she yelled looking straight at the customer.

It was a woman, her ashen brown curly hair and face like an angel was looking at her with a serious face.

The customer had just ordered a cappuccino, and after getting her change which she later put in the tip box, the woman stared at her again.

Selena sighed, baffled if she missed something.

"Is there something wrong?" Selena asked.

The customer was staring at her with disgust like she's a worm.

"I am Katherine," the woman said.

A line appeared in between Selena's eyebrows as she pondered why the customer told her name, she doesn't need it since she's the only customer that asked for take-outs.

"Do you want me to put your name on the cup?" she asked innocently like a little girl.

Katherine laughed, head shook with amusement.

"No, but, do you know Killian Dane?"

Hearing the name of the man she didn't see for three days, Selena's breathing stopped for a moment.

"Yes, why?"

Katherine gave her a lopsided grin, "I am his girlfriend."

Silence.

Selena's world suddenly became quiet, she could not even feel her heartbeat.

Out of nowhere, Daniella came.

Selena blinked and watched Daniella as she handed the coffee to the customer.

Katherine took it and turned around without saying goodbye, leaving Selena frozen in shock.

Her senses were only pulled back when she felt someone taking her hand.

Selena lowered her eyes on her hands, eyebrows creased after seeing the knife Daniella was handing her.

"what do you want me to do with this" her face became flat after seeing the knife.

"if you need help disposing of a body, you know where my room is."
